You cannot really answer this question without having experienced dying in a number of ways. Considering the fact that you are still alive, I'm guessing this isn't the case so the answer is really quite unknown. One would assume that a slow death is worse, but who knows

it depends on what u mean by wot deaths are worse! all deaths are horrible especially for those left behind, the worst is murder & child deaths don't ever get over them! if u mean wot would be the worse death? then i suppose i would agree on wot others have said by burning! bit of a morbid question really but i must be just as bad to have answered yr question!

For who; The family or the individual?

Sudden death is worse for the family, better for the one who's time is up.

Long term disease is terrible for everyone but, the family knows it's coming and some preparation does occur. The individual has way too much time to think....crap! I'm going to die!

In conclusion, it is worse for someone all the time.

sky,

I think any death that would prolong the agony before your brain shuts down...any that would let you experience the dread and agony.

Some say that when the French were at the height of employing the guillotine, those whose head rolled would have enough oxygen in their brains to know what was happening, for up to 20 seconds afterwards...

'Course, a slow drowning would be most unpleasant...

Perhaps a 'spiritual cleansing' common for executions during medeival days...drawn on the rack, beaten, evicerations (genitalia and bowels in particular)...quite nasty.

I can't decide between those three.

Being a parrot.... locked in a cage.... fed nothing but sunflower seed.... in the dark or covered up.... dirty water or no water.... and being screamed at or worse when I can't stand it any longer and voice my distress at the situation... slowly slipping into insanity and dying of fungal and bacterial diseases......

That's proof that there are worse things than death.
It happens all the time and I've rescued many.

The death on the edge of which you realise that you will be forgotten in a short time and that you didn't do anything worthwhile when you are alive is most likely the worst one no matter howpainful it is.

Drowning is actually meant to be very pleasant, if you let it happen without resisting. Being boiled or burned damages every nerve fibre in the epidermis, which is obviously exceptionally painful.

The death of a child who has never had the chance to experience life.
The death of a mother in childbirth who will never see her child grow into an adult.
The death of a loved one whom we will miss dearly.

Being stabbed to death over and over again. I think that's the most painful death you can ever experience.
