Cos that's life.
It means they didn't care that much for you in the first place; true love will ride out many a storm; but if someone leaves you for someone they lust after, they are no loss.
I know it's a very cruel and hurtful thing to do; I have been the one who was abandoned; but you survive and come back stronger. Have faith in your own self worth.

I can honestly say I have never done that myself. And I don't know if it has ever happened to me as once a relationship is over for me it is truly over.

Having said that as lust generally comes before love (love being a combination of friendship lust need comfort and the sheer joy of being with that one person) and lust animal magnetism one can only assume they were not in love in the first place.

there is just always the right time for everything. we sometimes meet someone who we may think be the right one and who feels mutual but unfortunately would tend to disappoint themselves in the end then would hurt us or leave us. All just because it was not the right time. So people tend to play around when they feel its not time, regardless of whether they hurt you or not..... for as long as they satisfy their present needs and desires...... that is why some marriages end up in divorces....... only when the time is right would or should an individual really settle down......
it is this fact that everyone else should be careful in picking just anyone, we may never know that that someone may not really be ready yet. sometimes its also an individual problem especially for the emotionally immature. They might just be in need of a little shower of wisdom..... and experience is the best way to gain wisdom.
They don't leave us because we are not enough for them, it's just that they only want something else or something more, which we are not or do not have.

Because people make mistakes. When you've been going out with someone for a long time its easy to get bored, you simply stop making such a big afford, so when someone new and exciting comes along that's really interested in you its easy to see the appeal. But you have to remind yourself that, that person will change too with time, its not always going to be exciting. Perhaps the key answer is you don't know what you have until you are in danger of losing it and that's when you learn the true value of your relationship.

I can't answer this but I know it hurts when it happens.

It is said that you don't leave the person you love for the person you lust as the person you lust will leave you for the person they love.

I`m guessing it`s because they have stopped lusting after you and you didn`t mean that much to them in the first place, sad i know.

They become excited with it and feel a rush I guess.. I never have, but I know people who have and it ruined really meaningful relationships. Very selfish people do these things.

I am happy to say that that has not happened to me yet, but I think it is more men than women, thinking with their gonads and basically forgetting to love their g/f or wife.
Btw are you named after an airship?
