I have had a bad past and I can't seem to make the memories go away, it's all making me very sad and i'm so tired of being sad and I know people are sick of me coming to them almost everyday with my problems.

I get this sometimes from men I don't know. They think nothing of coming up to me and telling me to smile and making some comment about me not smiling - you know, despite them not knowing what is going on in my life e.g. maybe my father died and I don't feel like smiling.

But it seems that guys only do this and they only do it to girls.

Have guys ever been told to smile by other guys or by girls?

What is it with these people?

OK. My other half keeps complaining that I don't make enough money and that I am a thief. She called me a burglar tonight and I had to correct her, that I am just a thief, as I don't break into houses. I just steal stuff, like alloy wheels, so not a burglar or a robber. The profit sucks and I think I make more money when I am in work. Anyway somehow it pays the bills when I am out of work.
We argued tonight and I told her she could easily make 1K in one night on the streets. Although I am the best looking immortal in the world I would not make that being male. Unless I did it with old men, which I would not do. So hence I am left with earning small money thieving and its hard stressful work. My other half is a student nurse and earns less than I do.
Anyway my question is, is it easier for men or women to make money?

I love so many colors, but I have this very strong, gut-deep aversion to navy blue. I can't stand it! It makes me feel trapped, enclosed, too old, too warm, just overall horrible.
What color(s) do you hate?

I have a bad past that I wanted to forget (i.e. bad things I've done, some punished and/or discovered, some not), and this girl has made me forget about it all and deal with the present by getting me, probably unknowingly, to think of her. I love her, but she doesn't love me so now she acts like we don't even know each other since I gave her a big hint. I don't hate her for not loving me, although I tried to but couldn't. Should I thank her for bringing me out of crying over spilled milk? I just wanted to see people's opinions.

. . . or even towards the people they are close to? When it comes down to anything, I don't like people seeing me shedding a tear, it's almost like when I feel i'm about to let it out, I need to get rid of it before the person infront of me sees it. Do you feel the same way, and if so, do you think it could be more of a personal experience from the past? or ... ?
I'm not trying to only find a solution to this, or should there be one. . .it's alright if there isn't. Because I also like to understand, if other people have this problem, what other reasons could there be? Just curious.

I'm living alone for the first time in my life. I'm finding it next to impossible to get to sleep at night -- every time I hear the slightest noise, I spring up and have to patrol the entire house. This happens many times per night. There IS an alarm system and security lighting, but I'm still afraid. Any suggestions?
