If the people were born blind, they have no REM and no visual imagery; the dreams consist of impressions from the other senses -- touch, hearing, smell, and taste. If the people were sighted and then became blind, they have REM (if the eye muscles have not yet atrophied), and their dreams contain visual imagery -- but these visual dreams might cease to occur eventually

Yes, they do dream. All it is is the imagination. Although it would be hard to dream if they were born blind. But the imagination is very powerful, so they do dream, the same as me and you.

dreams have little to do with sight, and dreams dont have to be visual, they can bear of other senses and feelings too....

If they were blind at birth, only dreams with hearing, but if they became blind later on, yes. (which would suck)
