why do some girls think they need to have bleach blonde hair, wear a ton of makeup and practically throw themselves at guys?

I think it is more of a social conditioning that takes place from mass media & a sub standard effort on media generated for males to portray what is real, genuine, and long lasting gratification of male needs.

so these girls take to what men think is true and good gratification.

so the next question ? how does it get fixed. My personal opinion is that more men are being educated on what is real, genuine, and long lasting - so therefore more girls will not be drawn into the current cycle.

Well partially, I think, is low self esteem. I'm not saying that women can't sometimes dress up a little and make themselves feel all girly, but to look like a clown strutting around with bleached hair, is stupid. Maybe a lot of them have low self esteem and choose to do that and try to be pretty because they're uncomfortable with their looks. But I see no reason why they do so, it's so stupid! I can understand some make up, but bleaching your natural hair color to someone else's kind of color is just idiotic. I mean, not all of you might agree, but I mean, be reasonable. Limit yourself to accessories, and appearance. Life isn't always about that. And for the fact that they want to get guys, is their problem. The guys that are smart enough to see through those, crazy girls, are the real guys you would want.

low self esteem mixed with the idea that most guys like that(some do) and to feel like the bad girl, most girl go through some kind of s**t moment in life, it is also searching for an identity.
