I don't think that I am depressed, i have friends who are and i don't have their severe symptoms. But even though i'm a normally really happy person it seems lately i have been really emotional- cying all the time-when i'm frustrated, when I'm irritable, happy, sad it doens't matter. I get very irritable when I'm at home with my family and i really don't know why but little things get to me and i seem to be getting mean and short with people. I know that stress can cause all this but I've also been thinking i'm fatigued but, i don't know how serious symptoms have to be in order to actually make a big deal out of all this I know that seems like a lot of ramble but any answers will help. Thanks!

You do need to see a doctor. You could be depressed or you could have a hormone imbalance. It is serious enough to see a doctor about. Take steps to get rid of your fatigue, get more sleep at night, and don't work too much. Best wishes.

why dont you start by takling to a friend of yours? a friend may better than anyone else know what is giving you trouble. maybe you just need a good break? seems you are frustrated. i dont think that the best would be just to take pills that will make you happier before you sort out what is the cause beneath your feeling. maybe you just have had enough of it and really want a break. in this state even little things can send you crying. in the morning when you wake up - what is your first thought, your first worried thought, i mean. or are you physically tired when you get up? if yes, then it could be fatigue - either caused by lack of rest or by something getting wrong in your body. ask yourself how you feel when you wake up.

you mention that you feel irritated when wiith your family - maybe that is where your frustration comes from and as you possibly love your family you dont realize it - do you secretly wish to move away?? maybe you want a break from your family ? and that is nothing wrong with it. why dont you stay at your friends place for 2-3 weeks (you sure find someone who would appreciate sharing appartment with you)

for all i know maybe u are even pregnant? (i mean onlyif you are a woman)

take care

I basically had the same thing. I have always been a positive, happy, fun, life of the party kind of person and suddenly I felt irritable and I cried all the time. When my daughter would come home and leave to go back to her home 3 hrs away, I would cry uncontrollably for hours until I made myself sick. And when we would go to visit her, I would cry the entire 3 hours home. I would cry at commercials, and sad movies, and if I saw a dead animal on the side of the road. And I don't cry, ever, not at funerals, or weddings, or just never. My husband and daughter told me I had to do something because it was upsetting everybody. So, bottom line is that I went to the doctor and he put me on Paxil and I am back to normal. We had to adjust the dosage a couple of times to get it right. Too much made me jittery and not able to sleep and too little did not help. We got it right now and I have no side effects from it and I guess I still don't have a "reason" for my actions, but as long as the medication works, I don't care. Good luck and please go to the doctor. Medication rocks.
