I'm a very proud virgin and it definitely boosts my ego and makes me feel cool and sexy inside and out. I think it's just plain gross to give it up to someone that's not your spouse. (Granted people's past mistakes doesn't mean they can't change and put it behind). How could someone possibly think it's something to be ashamed of? And I hear some people say "Oh yeah I've only been with 6 people?" and I'm thinking "ONLY 6 people?! WTF?!?"

And men, I speak for many chicks when I say that you're not going to impress me by being promiscuous but quite the opposite. You lose my respect and you turn me off. And you wanna impress the ladies, right? A guy is a dork if he's involuntarily a virgin but if he's VOLUNTARILY a virgin then he's cool and sexy.

i am extremly shy.i always feel very uncomfortable around people so i only leave the house to go to school.if i talk to a stranger u can hear the nervousness in my voice.it even feels weird just to stand outside in my yard.i'll be leaving high school soon so i need to be able to communicate more.can any1 give me some advice how to overcome this.

Lately, I have been lonely and have been alone more than I like (I am a person that feels a need to be around people). And I think I am being put in situations to have to overcome this need, but I don't make good use of my time when I am alone and find myself getting depressed and wasting time trying to motivate myself to do things on my own.
Do you guys have any suggestions of how to make best use of my time when I am not around people?

I see it in hockey fights, everyone cheers when two players get in a fight. Then everyone cheers more when even more players get involved. Why do we like violence on TV and in sports?? Is it the adrenaline?

I carry a gun everywhere I go so I can kill anyone who may kill me. I actually do not care if I die as long as I am able to kill the person who killed me. Like if I was shot and dying I would not mind having to die if I was able to get off a shot and kill my attacker. What kind of brain do I have? Is this kind of thinking indicative of a certain type of personality disorder?

i was once younge and stupid, still am, only i have learnt alot, i have grown into something better. from a younge age, i was given the role to save people, from such a younge age i was dealing with suiced, i am now 16. once, a wile back, something terrible happend in my life, my bf commited suidide infront of me. i then,, attempted it.. i was so younge, so confuzed, so stupid, my mum saved me, i was opperated on, and i had councelling for a year, i was kicked out of school, and my family was broken, and now i have a horrible haunting scar, forever. suicide or self harm is not the easy way owt, its the hard way out, if it doesent kill you, it will kill the onse around you. please think, you dont have to be depressed, you dont have to be misserable, you make your life what it is. ive been through so much... so... much... my whole life.,. but any one can get through it,. no matter how hard, your not alone. and life is such a gift. belive me. please just think, & stop this bulshit 4evr

My best friend has a tough life and mine is really easy; I want to help her out but really can't do anything but listen, and I feel like this is driving us apart.

For example, she battles an eating disorder and self injury, issues of past abuse (in several manners), is worried about maintaining her employment status, isn't sure she can afford to go to college, can't afford the medicine that she needs to take, and has to help her family through financial troubles even though they waste a lot of their own money on themselves and she has hardly any.

In contrast, I've never been employed and I'm going to college through a combination of scholarship programmes and my parents' financial foresight (they were fortunate enough to set up a low-tuition programme for me). Plus I generally get along with my family, haven't ever been abused or suffered from an ED, and generally lead a great life.

What should I do?

i end up feeling really frustrated and scared,i have this sort of dream quite often,for example i cld b on a bus but the bus keeps getting lost or im running and i no which way im ment to go but for sum reason i keep taking wrong turns.it really is scary and i wake up feeling really very upset.any ideas please thankyou

My youth minister has asked me to speak to a group of teen cutters about cutting. I was a former cutter and i know a lot about it. Im looking for someone who used to cut to tell me what they wish somebody would have told them when they were doing it? and what made them stop? and anything that you think will benefit theses teens and help them to atleast consider stopping. Any help will be appreciated.

Its strange....and I've been keeping count on my dreams. Yeah I know, weird...but I think its strange. I ususally have nightmares all the time [not good dreams] and havent had one in four months....I'm glad but wondering....is this abnormal? I thought a person should have one dream or something?

Everyone has that one thing that they are addicted to, and some might not even now it. It is that thing that you think about all the time. It is constantly on your mind and you don't know how to stop thinking about it. All you know is that you want it. For some people this thing can be cigarettes, food, sex, drugs, or alcohol. Other people have more positive addictions like christianity or music. If you would, please tell me what your addiction is and how you can possibilly get over a negative addiction.

The more I date the more I find out that guys don’t want to have anything to do with me unless I have to offer something..it is either sex..or some kind of favours..so I always end up leaving them.. I have had a problem all my life and ithas plagued me since I was a child. My Mom and sister always telling me I am worthless and know nothing. Like even when I would bjust sittng on the couch watcing tv. Its like its always hard to get things done thinking and haring their words in my mind. What are some good ways to think better of myself?
