You are right. I think with your post....you have raised hope in my people who might read this and reconsider their thoughts. It is so easy to get lost in our pain and lose our hope. But we have to give ourselves a chance. Life is big! Way huge than our lives. Imagine, how many million chances we are missing, if we give up. Yeah, when we die, we will be gone. But what about the hurt we will leave with our near and dear ones?? They will hurt forever. They will never be able forgive themselves. They might think they had a role to play. If we care about our loved ones, we would never put them through this pain.

Time heals everything. Acknowledge your pain, and take one day at a time to heal yourself. Look beyond yourself. Get the right perspective. I think all the problems in our lives are actually challenges that have a big, big lesson for our higher selves, if we only care to unearth that lesson.

from your post...it seems like you have more like a statement than a question.
i guess my answer is...suicide is like ultimate selfishness. self harm can be a valid way to deal with emotions i think. i mean, intense feelings sometimes warrant intense action, and it isnt that risky, i mean in the long run.
that said, i think you are still dealing with some really intens sh*t and you might consider going to self harm forums, or something like that, and sharing your story. i mean it seems to me that you really need to tell people your feelings.
maybe you can make a differance at places like www.gurl.com
or other places where people talk about suicide and stuff.

When you're in your early teenage years, it's easy to think about suicide, it's because people are insecure and can't themselves yet. Attempting Suicide means you're weak and stupid for realizing it will solve all your problems for you. It will make more problems for the people who love you. When you have a crisis you can't runaway from the world, you have to face it. My friend started cutting herself and I cried for her, it was tearing up everyone around her.

I think you are a confabulating liar even though you are depressed. Depression can be treated. See your MD and tell him the truth. That is, the truth. The truth, that is.
