I really don't know why people do not access the most perfect companion. A book. Get straight down to reading fiction; literature; mystery; or any other kind of literature. You will wonder why you never reached out to this companion before.

"Tennessee Williams once wrote; When so many are lonely as seem to be lonely, it would be inexcusably selfish to be lonely alone."
"Tennessee Williams once wrote; 'We all live in a house of fire. No fire department to call. No way out. Just the upstairs window to look out of while the fire burns the house down… with us trapped, locked in it.'"
"At this moment, there are 6 billion, 4 hundred, 71 million, 8 hundred, 18 thousand, 6 hundred, 71 people in the world. Some are running scared.. some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day.. others are just now facing the truth. Some are evil men at war with good, and some are good.. struggling with evil. 6 billion people in the world, 6 billion souls -- and sometimes.. all you need is 1."
WATCH ONE TREE HILL!!!
Seriously, everybody feels like that for sometime in their lives... I feel like that... and whenever I do, I remind myself of the good that there awaits me, and I'M NOT ALONE...

Join Amnesty International and write letters in support of prisoners of conscience, who various foreign governments think they can get away with abusing and even torturing, because they think no-one knows or cares about those unfortunate people. It often comes as a complete surprise to them when they get a stack of letters from all around the world denouncing them and demanding the release of those people, and has helped secure the release of many. Force yourself to get out more; consider working 2 hrs a fortnight for Meals on Wheels or another charity or good cause - it will bring you into contact with people and help you feel better about yourself. Go to: www.relax7.com and also view the blog of Shan Eris on "tackling depression" at www.myspace.com

That is what I felt this past few days. We had our preliminary exams in college and I wasn't able to geet higher grades and even didn't able to finish some subjects. The result is, i'm degrading myself. Thinking that I'm stupid and a nonsense person. But my mom told me that i'm a lucky person because i'm in an exclusive school and have a good education.
After thinking and being alone, I finally found out that no person succeeds without facing trials...I just think of it as one of my downs in life. Because life is a wheel of ups and downs. Downs are there to challenge us to strive better, to be even greater in life to pursue our dreams...
"It's not our fault to fail. Because we just opened a new door for improvement."

Excellent question!!! You should really work on yourself. Don't waste this time. Use this time to make yourself stronger by improving your self-talk. Reading self-help books, Praying, Relying on God, Visualizations, Affirmations and Aerobic Exercise.
Use this time to reflect on yourself. Watch how your mind works and see when and where you say negative things to yourself...then change it with positive reflection.
Reprogram yourself for success within and when you then have social encounters...you will be very equipped!

Read a lot of books, fiction or non. Become well-rounded in many subjects so you'll have input for whatever topic when you're not alone.

My friend, you are concentrating more on self. If you care bit more for others, you will not feel lonely. In fact, many will come to you. (don't take amiss). Just suggestion.
