People say it doesn't matter because it's not my body, choice. I just have trouble being around this person because she drank, smoked pot and cigarettes until she could round up enough money to have the abortion. I'm a Christian and I believe that abortion is not okay and not a form of birth control. I tried to hang out in a group with her and I couldn't even look at or interact with her because I have no respect for her anymore. Now some of our mutual friends have taken her side, even though they were against it from the beginning. I have been working on forgiving her, but I have a fair amount of anger to deal with because of her complete lack of responsibility and the fact that she's still sleeping around, unprotected. In the end, I believe in standing up for what I know is right. Any thoughts?

I seem to feel very, very uncomfortable around crowds of people. Why could this be? I tend to want to stay away. If I do end up being in an area that is full of people, after while I don't feel as uncomfortable. It doesn't even have to be a huge crowd of people. It can be as simple as a few people at my house. I don't know why this is and I often find that ends up keeping me away from friends and family. Any sort of help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've been playing poker for a while now, but only recently, playing with a couple of my friends( all from different part of the world) I have had a different opinion of the game. I could tell who was a bluffer, who was a spender, who was conservative, and who was born to be poor, who would take bribes in exchange of favors, and who would colaborate with the leader on the table. I've started analyzing who made alliance with who, based on the countries they were from, and in most case, it all made sense. Although I was the second player with the most chips, I still lost by intimidation. The way the table was set (round , looking like the world), it seems like the leader owned the world (with his chips taking 3/8 of the whole table. I also have to say that the leader of the table come from a rich country and is used to money

Dont you think it's part of our creativity and mental ability to judge things and decide wheather it is right or wrong for us? Now if you think we should judge then dont you think we can never judge right because we dont know the other person's situation? Then what should we do?

Are most people going to be inclined to work harder and better if they fear their boss and others around them, or if they respect them.

Fear of losing ones' job is a strong motivator, while respect is transient....

Thoughts?
