Do you like the lights on or off?

My significant other likes them on, but I like them off during sex. I was just wondering if other people had similar problems with this issue?

THEY want them on to see us (visually stimulated).

WE want them off because we are ashamed of our lack of physical perfection (the Hollywood version).

What they don't TELL us is that they KNOW we aren't those perfect size 2 non-cellulite perky boob chicks...but they STILL are turned on by us naked!!

It's something that is related to intimacy and self esteem. If you don't feel good about how you look then by nature you don't want the lights on. But your bf wants to see you and that's ok , it's a sign that he has not issues with your body.

Turning off the lights though allows his other senses to come out and that in itself can be very much a turn on for anybody. That's what you tell him if he asks why.

If you're talking lights and not candles then I would say no lights. They're so harsh it practically gives you a head ache and certainly can't add to the mood. Now if you're talking candles, that I don't mind at all. It casts mysterious looking shadows, adds intrigue, and allows you to see what you're doing.
