Can hypnotizing someone screw someone's mind up? Could someone please answer two separate answers of whether you can screw someone's mind up on purpose and if you could do it by mistake? xD *doing a career project*

First of all you can only hypnotize someone if they give you their permission. It is terrible to say but so many people are mindless and are easy to hypnotize--yeah weak minded. Yes you can actually mess up someones mind that is why you are ultimately your responsibility not to mess it up when you have the opportunity to do so--moral and values.
It is said that a person would never do what they would not ordinarily do say like some of the stage stuff--barking like a dog on all fours
then there are those who can make a person murder--well they have had to set up a scenario in that person's mind that they would be saving their loved one from harm etc
there is so much to learn with hypnotic properties -- be careful for we still do not know it all

Just an educated guess:
If someone has mal intent + ability & the victim is weak, yes I beleive his/her mind can be "screwed up" on purpose and by mistake also.
I would not subject myself to a hypnotist.
