I expect to recieve an honest answer. One that will direct me in the correct way to the solution the the question I am seeking an answer for.

Honest honest honest!
Though there are times when I just want an answer that humors me. Like if I get a haircut and I don't like it at first, and I ask someone, "does my haircut look ok?" I want them to humor me. I think that any time my question refers to physical attributes, I want to be humored. But any other time, I want an honest answer.

It depends on the question, if it's a technical and serious Q.
informative answers are highly appreciated so are referrals. All others are a waste of space.
If its an pretty broad & opinonated Q., I except and expect all answers. Good/ Bad/Ugly/Hilarious.Creative/ and Politcally Incorrect. Honest A's are the best ones and not misleading.

I prefer honesty whether it might "hurt my feelings" or not. People's unwillingness to express their feelings directly bothers me more than even a blunt, "I hate you." In my opinion, we don't need to hide the truth and facts from adults (although sometimes keeping our opinion to ourselves isn't such a bad thing if it has no constructive outcomes).

when i ask a question, i want a good answer, a very understanding answer, thats the whole purpose of yahoo answers, i ask a question, and i get answers, and thats pretty much it.
