If I'd believed that "these are the happiest days of your life" as I was told, I wouldn't have made it this far.
Lonely, confused, the perpetual outsider.
(I understand it now...)
At the age of 50, I'm working on having one now.
It's a risk, but I'm trying the value of another saying:
"It's never too late to have a happy childhood."

No I didn't have a happy childhood,I wouldn't go back but I was every day planting a seed for future hapiness!

Acutally I did , despite having numerous eye surgeries during it.
I travelled to Illinois , made wonderful friends in a new country, saw wonderful scenery. It was pretty happy looking back on it and not through rose coloured glasses either. Pretty idylic actually.
