I'm a college student and my chemistry lab partner says to this girl who asked him if he was John (me), and he says, "hell no!" I didn't know what to say.... I have never done anything to this guy, I don't know what his problem is. The next day in class he had the nerve to ask me if he could copy my homework! I wanted to say "no", but I thought to myself, "If I piss him off, he could seriously hurt my grade in the class because my teacher makes us hand in our tests, quizzes, labs, on this table and people are constantly going through them and doing what they please. I would have to wait until everyone turned in their test and he left before I would feel safe turning mine in." I feel like I was caught between a rock and a hard place. My grades are really important because I would like to go to professional school one day. What woud you have done? Thanks for your input!

I'm sorry sititutions like that are always really hard. I've been in a couple my self. As much as I would have like to said I stood up to him honestly, I probably would have done the same thing. If it bothers you alot to have him copy you.Next time, just say no, or tell him your not fininshed or something. I would hate to see you get caught and get in trouble for him copying off you. Good Luck either way. You sounds like a good guy, I Hope it works out for you.

hm, if that were me-
if its really bad, i'd probably straight-up walk up to the guy and ask "do you have a problem with me?"

if not, id crack some smartass remarks toward him in a friendly manner

i suggest you do the second one because the first one would only be usefull if the tension is realllly obvious
but the guys probably just a selfish-jerk type of guy and is taking advantage of you
just dont appear weak to him and you should get along enough until you switch partners or something
goodluck bro =)

wow..talk about a rock and a hard place. Any chance you can get the teacher to switch you with another partner? If not maybe you will have to just suck it up and deal with him for the rest of the class and be done with him afterwards. Good Luck hun.

you are an student and what ever you do for others, or they do for you you feel it need to be repay?, and that is find, so, pay him and get out of the business, it seams to me that such partnership will never work for you again, at least in a positive way. good luck!!!
