Hi, Its nice to hear you say that....He's a few things you can do: 1. Try to always do a good deed of the day (something you usually wouldn't do)
2. Be polite, remember that the person you are calling an idiot might of just lost a loved one or might be dying of cancer.
3. Get in shape...a gym membership is a great way to meet new people and make you feel better about yourself...If money is an issue buying a second hand exercise machine might be a better idea instead.
4. If you don't like your job, find something that you like and move on from there. Make sure you don't quit the first job until you are sure you have been accepted for something better.
5. Finally, never go to bed angry and live life like if there was no tomorrow.....
Hope this helps buddy :)

The best way to make changes is to start small and work your way up. Perhaps cut your computer time by 30 minutes each day until you get it down to a more managable/acceptable time frame.

You mention becoming a "brighter" person. I cannot stress enough how important reading is for me. Being an avid reader for the past 15 years or so has benefited me in so many different ways. I've learned so much by making reading a part of my daily routine and it's helped me to become more articulate.

The true way to be a better person is to focus on developing your inner strengths...such as patience, persistence, courage, honesty, integrity, compassion, loyalty...which means doing the right things, the hard things. You may make mistakes and have setbacks, but make yourself do what you know is right as often as possible, and eventually you'll develop behavior patterns that will make you a truly outstanding person. I guarantee it.

Join some groups that have a common interest to you. Maybe consider taking an art class, or some other hobby that you've always wondered about but always put off.

Become active in your community. Volunteer at local events, or for charity.

Try taking a class at a local community college or something. Maybe a computer class....so that you can turn your computer addiction into a productive addiction.

Volunteer @ a loaves & fishes or other soup kitchen...it'll really give you a perspective on things....and make a list of progress...like record all the bad stuff you do now...and then as you start doing less....mark it down, till there's very little or none less

Volenteering is really good for that. That's what I'm going to start doing more, it makes you feel a lot better. Like yesterday I volenteered to help with a dance for disabled people. And just try to be nicer to people, smile more or even give out hugs to people.
