-IQ
-EQ
-Adversity Quotient
-Make decisions
-Make sacrifices to achieve goal
-Plan/organise
-Manage people

I went into Guitar Center to purchase a new amp. When I returned to the car my favorite bumper sticker was torn in half. It said "Against Abortion? Don't have one." I don't see why any one would tear that off. I want to smack them in their face. :X

Why don't people seem to show interest in people that are shy in social situations?
Are they immediately un-interesting?
Do people avoid trying to make conversation to avoid awkward situations?
Or do people immediately assume that person who is shy has no life/personality

I say human nature is polluted with varying degrees of carnal or animal nature. According to the theories of darwin. Once people overide personal interest, ie the faithless fear the devoted their ability to remain steadfast, the weak willed fear the strong etc etc...The study of this Science shows that th efreeing of humanity is not only possible but relatively easy.

The barriers fear, hate, and thenegative character traits that these emotions produce have to be broken. This is done with given understanding. Most intellectuals will become disheartened and disllusioned mid course, and disinclined to aid a people who are arrogant, intolerant and unwilling to listen. This is the only reason we are not free.

Maslow's hierarchy of needs states that one must first have all the needs below self-actualization to achieve it. Fulfillment of Physiological, Safety, Love/Belonging/Social and Esteem needs can bring about self-actualization but often requires a catalyst of some sort.

Will it ever once stop accepting new information or will it continue to expand in order to accommodate?

i think so. we would be much better off living in small independant communities living life how it ought to be. not a life a chasing money, but we need $ so we can live now days. don't you think the machine isen't looking out for our best interest and mother nuture more inclined to, since we are born from it. the "machine" is cold and only wishs us to do things not in our nature. the machine being i guess you could say technology.

Or is it all gloom and doom?

What are the good things that we have to look forward to, if any? Cures for diseases, hiv/aids, cancer, aging, etc?

Better improvements in the system?

Better president? Honestly this one is the only positive thing I see as happening, because I don't see how we can do any worse than Bush.

Everyone keeps saying it's over, religious people are saying it's the end times, and people are fierce and mean and ridiculous, that it sure feels like it's all ending.

So is there anyone out there that holds any hope for the future?

OR, have you all given up?

is it crazy to have a dream of living in a small apartment on the beach and do absolutely nothing for the rest of my life? i dont even care to be rich or whatever, just have enough money for food and utilities and just enjoy life on the beach. am i crazy? or is this normal?

No racist answers, please, but besides personality, for instance some white girls only date black men and are only attracted to black men (and vice versa). My best friend, who is Puerto Rican (spaniard & taino mixed), is very attracted to european/whites. My father is attracted to black women (he too is PR). I like asians, latins, multiracial, blacks for the most part while my mother's family only dates whites (she's italian/irish).

Is it society and the media, is it experience, or is it inherent? Because I'm not really conventional, and i really don't go for "what's in", my friend just finds the features attractive and he was raised around mostly other latins with darker features while my father has dated ALL races but tends to mostly be attracted to a certain type.

I know its personality, but I'm talking initial attraction. Do people tend to go for what's similar to them or different? For the most part most white guys only date white girls, black women only with black men..

I have a major problem with waking up in the morning... My mom is tired of waking me up, and she won't do that anymore. I'll have to get up myself.... My alarms are really loud and annoying, but I set them at different times. But when they ring I'll just switch them off and get back to sleep again. Please give me some advice or solutions. I've tried many ideas already but they can't work! Please help! Thanks =)

There's a group of horrible neighborhood kids. They throw garbage in our yard, terrorize our dogs, kick our trash can, and do nothing but cause trouble. Recently, they've been ringing our doorbell and darting off. It wouldn't be so bad except that they do it at least once a week and it drives my dogs crazy, and my dogs wont stop barking for like half an hour.

I went out a few minutes ago and caught them and yelled, "Please stop ringing my doorbell, thank you." Is that too kind? Do I need to be meaner? Threaten to call the cops? I'm tired of it. Please help.
