What is required is not a correct answer here but what actually is ,as in the mind of the person.A therapist is not testing our knowledge of social sense but the real ground thoughts as they exist or come about. It's important to be honest, truthful and forth right with a therapist.

The therapist is pointing out that if you don't "love' youself, and look after yourself, you won't be of any use to anyone else. This doesn't mean being selfish - as in spending all the money on yourself and not on the family, it is simply that some women will give all the healthy food to the baby - the expensive food to the husband, and just have the rubbish for themselves. They will make sure the rest of the family has enough sleep, but stay awake for hours finishing off chores; it is in this way your therapist is pointing out that you have to think of yourself.

well when i read this immediately my first thought was ME LAST!! my child and hubby comes first but its weird how i feel about that...im so sure i will get thumbs down over what im about to say but i feel if i were to lose my son...my hubby would get us thru it, but if i were to lose my hubby...i would be lost. so i think they are EQUAL.
