I went into Guitar Center to purchase a new amp. When I returned to the car my favorite bumper sticker was torn in half. It said "Against Abortion? Don't have one." I don't see why any one would tear that off. I want to smack them in their face. :X

Woah... Some people who posted a response actually think I am pro-life? I don't know where that notion came from.

Oh... and I have three other bumper stickers:
"Doing my part to piss of the religious right"
"Don't Pray in my School and I Won't Think in Your Church"
and a Darwin fish
Think those will eventually be torn off?

Because people are stupid thats why! I love the bumper sticker though! Its exactly the way I feel about the subject! Just 'cuz I won't have one doesn't mean I can tell others they don't have the right to!!

You should have a right to have your bumper stickers on your car, it's your property. However, I'd be pretty pissed if I read a few too.
Abortion is pretty screwed up. It seems more people get pissed off about pro life than people that don't mind doing the dirty, getting pregnant, and using it as a form of birth control. There are only some instances where it's even agreeable.
The one about church. Why should people not have the right to pray in a school? As long as they're not forcing anyone else to, why on earth would that piss you off? I'm just curious...
The bumper sticker also claims that people who attend church cannot think for themselves. Some people, perhaps. Many Christians in general, yes. They'll listen to a preacher instead of reading a bible. (If you read the entire bible, it contradicts how many people who claim to follow it, truly are)
But denying a historical artifact and stripping its value because you think it brain washes people... Well it clearly wasn't made for that attempt and to go out of your way to piss other people off is pretty rotten. By the sound of your bumper stickers, you sound like an anti-God, pro-baby killing jerk, which is why it would spark people to take your stickers off. Ever seen a stupid sticker that was religious on some one else's car, or had a statement you disagreed with? I'm sure you may have wanted to tear it off if you'd seen a pretty stupid one. I've felt the same way. It's just the same. But hey, I don't know you, I shouldn't be judgmental, but maybe your stickers promote JUDGMENT. Judgment that other people don't want to see.
But no, it wasn't right for them to be torn off as it's your choice and your property and you're entitled to that, no matter who agrees or disagrees.

I'm a big fan of free speech, but.....
The bumper sticker IS condescending and dismissive of the genuine moral dilemma "When does a developing human fetus get human rights?"
If a fetus isn't human, then a woman 'choice' is not in question.
If it is human, then a woman doesn't get to choose murder.
Got it? The question is NOT the right to choose.
To the anti abortion crowd your sticker reads:
"Against Child Abuse? Don't Abuse One."
You portray their moral objection to easily ending a human life as though it were choosing to not watch an offensive TV show.
And that is why someone was pissed off enough to rip it off your car.
Now, as a Darwinist, I see abortion as a great way for the unfit to remove themselves from the gene pool, so I am VERY pro-Abortion.
That said though, I don't think you don't need to smack anyone in the face....
....your bumper sticker has already done that.
EDIT: The Darwin Fish is simply stating another point of view. The other stickers are delibrately insulting. Grow up.

thats obvious. they disagreed with u. Get over it do u seriously need to ask people a qeustion about that when its that easy. Go get another. True freedom of speech but jesus people need to keep there beliefs to themselves instead of going and getting a bumper stick that they r positive is gonna piss someone off.
Truth is ill never get a bumper stick saying n e of my beliefs cause i know that that would happen. In my opinion u had it comin. And not cause i think ur wrong about ur beliefs on abortion cause idc.
U gotta look at how thing r gonna offend people otherwise n e thing can happen to u.
Sorry to hear it happen man but thats how life is not everyone agrees with u. Have a goodn.
And yea there is a good chance that the other ones will b the same. Opinions r good and all but on sensitive subjects u dont need to announce it to the whole world. Just if someone asks u then tell them how u feel on the subject.
(P.S. sorry bout that. Read it a different way.)

Because people are stupid. You have a right to your opinion. Ist amendment right. I don't agree with your abortion stance, but I'd never tear off a bumper sticker to make my point. Again, people can really be stupid. That's life, no pun intended. Actually your sticker doesn't make much sense upon further review. And, torn in half, what half was left? You don't say. Can't wait to read other posts on this one!

Abortion is a very heated topic, often intertwined with someone's religion. Someone obviously did not like your bumper sticker and felt motivated enough to tear it off. It was wrong to do, just like pro-life people who go to such extremes like calling in threats to abortion clinics, or shooting at doctors who perform the procedures. I am pro-life but I also respect each person's right to their own opinion and right to make that opinion known.

Some people get really worked up about the whole abortion thing (like that freak who used to bomb abortion clinics) I don't get why its such a big deal myself. I don't really like political bumper stickers for that reason though, they tend to charge people up and we have enough angry drivers out there already.

i does not, yet I believe the sentiment in that bumper sticky label. besides, although if i did no longer agree, that could desire to be no reason to vandalize yet somebody else's property. the only valid reason to vandalize a stranger's motor vehicle is that if the homestead windows have been left up, and there's a few thing interior which would be bothered by the warmth, like beer. save the frosty liquids!

Put on another one, go to the same store and stake out the store. Drop kick the first person that gets 2 feet from your bumper. Then and interrogate them. Do it. Give me a progress report in one week.
