because the problem is not with me, but with them trying to involve themselves and infringe upon my life

These two older guys who i know from my health club were talking about how hard it is to find a suitable partner girlfriend in this day and age because girls are so picky.I walk in and he says i bet he doesn't have a girlfriend which was directed towards me in a sracastic manner.I'm in great shape and am not a bad looking guy by any means and have many things going for me(talented musician,smart)etc....This guy knows me and he knows that too,so i asked the other guy what he meant and he said it was just done in an as a matter of fact way and it was nothing malicious. This trainer knows me and is on friendly terms with me,so what should i make of all of this? It's frustrating.I'm 23 and he's 55,so there's a big age difference.

I asked a question about who should pay for the first date and many indicated that whoever suggests/asks for a date should pay. Do you feel that way about anybody who suggests doing anything (including girlfriends asking to go clubbin', eating, shopping, movies) or is this exclusive to men in a dating situation? And why?

Also, does this mean if the person likes to spend time to get to know you but doesn't have money, he needs to wait until he has enough to sponsor your company? So, basically your time costs money? And do you feel that it's OK for him to equally expect payment in other forms, since his time and money are valuable to him also?

Please break it down to me, as I have no understanding of the logic behind this argument.

Most of us don't remember our first years of life... Perhaps because we thought ourselves as being linked with another entity..... a nurturing mother. Do we realize that we exist on our own at age 3, 4, 5? And is it a sudden awareness or a gradual understanding ?

Honest question. I don't buy any fashion magazines or anything like that, but a while ago I took a feminist-ish class that analyzed how women are presented in pop culture.

The stuff in the magazines was _disgusting_. All the women had makeup that, to me, just looked like bruises, and one woman was hung from the ceiling like a chandelier.

But what was even more disgusting to me was that all these girls were alternating between, "That's so wrong," and, "This is my favorite magazine!"

Power of the consumer, people. The industry gives you what you want, and you tell them by buying that crap and watching MTV.

You can't blame everything on 'societal pressure' either, because there's always someone else who agrees with you and you're ultimately the one forking over the cash and taking the thing home.

Stop buying Hooker magazine and miniskirts, and I guarantee you they will disappear.

Allow me to ellaborate. Now we have metal detectors in schools, new DVD's that take a half hour to get to because of all the security labels, having to sign a form to buy certain cold medications. There are many more things to note and I welcome your examples if you answer. Anyway, peace-

No matter what you or anyone says, someone who dies a virgin is STILL gonna wanna do it even after they die and are in heaven. There are so many sexy women in this world and the guy will still want to do this even after he dies, virgin or not.

For example, what about all those kids who went straight to Vietman ot Iraq just out of high school and died in combat before they had the chance to make out with a girl?

We have been together for a year and I found out I had two teens a few months ago. I have been lying telling her I'm going to come and visit her and never showing up for about a month. I never called and let her know I wasn't coming and I never answered the phone when she called because my kids don't want me talking to her. She wanted to meet the kids but the kids didn't want to meet her. She says she is hurt I kept breaking promises to come see her and I need to learn to balance my time or I will never have a girlfriend. I never came to see her because the kids never wanted to go back home when I picked them up and I always stood my girlfriend up to make them happy. I think she is selfish and thinks so stupid because she says her feelings are hurt that I stand her up and don't call her. She won't talk to me now. Is she wrong or am I wrong?

....sit on this forum and point out and lament how nasty, unaccountable women behave & think? I've had the good fortune of having some of the more mature women on this forum take me aside and remind me of things like this. Wouldn't the concepts of "success is the best revenge," and "lead by example" be more effective and enjoyable than to sit and criticize those that will not listen to this type of criticism for decades, if ever? I'm not questioning the validity of what they criticize, just the effectiveness. Hey, I'm one of these guys myself.
I guess my main question is: Wouldn't it be more effective to concentrate on/look for a good woman and reward her when you find her; even if you think your goal is to irk nasty women?

A Freak ?

I watch alot of anime and Cartoons and can't help but start to admire some characters , Well I am not obsessed but the idea of being moved or affected by some cartoons scares me a bit since it didn't stop even after I tried to stop , but it changed to the second level ... Yupe , Love ... -.- Don't stare like this ...

I loved some characters ... this combination of Voice and fine draws can move my heart a little.
I am not really emotionally Open to people , but I found some comfort in the anime for being so Perfect ...

I told none cause I don't really like talking much -yes I write alot but thats not talking- and the only relations I Want is the ones with understanding and loving people , else ... they can just pass by , I don't care ... !

SO . Am I being Freak .. ?
and did anyone encounter the same problem ? lol and if u did please tell me which characters did u love ... I am curious about my tastes ... = P

thanks

I often hear from some people especially when they are asked in terms of gender - social thing, they do say that they are having identity crisis. Is this a joke? Like, you're a man or woman but you are thinking something.

Is this like trying to open yourself who you really are... by having this kind of ridiculous (?) pain?

Women have a need for caring, attention and chemistry from men. Therefore, men are advised to be more sensitive and caring and attentive to womens needs in a relationship.

NOW.. how is this different from advising women to me more detached and sexual? Men have a need for sex.

Why is a womans need for "intimacy" more improtant than a mans need for sex?? Because intimacy is more meaningful? NOT to MEN....

Curious..

Sometimes profilers have little to go on other than old photographs and the clues such photographs can offer.

So, for fun, would you like interpret the inner-relationships of these four sisters based on what their body language says from this photograph?

successful and powerful women should use their platform to address female issues? I ask because I read a local major metoropolitan magazine, with the top 20 women in business and not one talked about women issues.

Ok.. earlier I asked a question about how feminists don't want equality in the dating world. Here is one response I got:

"Employees at a factory get paid by piece. Male employees get paid $1.00 a piece. And, female employees get paid $1.00 a piece. Employees have equal rights in this matter. Employee equal rights in this matter of pay does not relate to how male employees court female employees or how female employees court male employees.

SOO.. why is equality ok for work, but for "courting" equality goes out the window?? Could it be because women have an advantege in the courting department and don't want to lose it?

Thats the funny thing about "equality"... EVERYONE loses both their advanteges AND their disadvanteges.. not just one side :)

Sometimes when we're having sex, she starts to panic. She'll start shaking and crying hysterically. She feels like she's upsetting me when that happens, but I completely understand. How should I comfort her when this happens and how should I make her see that I understand and love her even though she panics?
I realize I posted this question previously, but many people told me that she needed to go to therapy, and she has. She's still going and I've gone with her. I just need to know what I should do and how I can help.
Another thing...We obviously stop having sex when she panics and I try to hold her, but sometimes that makes her cry even harder and she just doesn't want to be touched. Sometimes she'll pull away from me and I'll catch her hand and bring her close to me, and she just snuggles up and cries. After she's close she's fine, but other times, she gets away and after things have calmed down, she'll tell me she just wishses that I would have held her. What should I do?
