Yes I would vote for a woman who had a good head on her shoulders. That is the same criteria I use for male leaders.
But I am a little concerned that a female president would start doing what feminists do and blame everything on past male leadership I haven't seen much out of the female leaders we have. The president doesn't make law congress does and it has females in it. Feminists like to ignore that fact. And I think Clinton may be the best for our country. She will show what kind of damage feminism is doing to our country and prove to the masses that feminism isn't about equality it is about domination of males. And then when she is out of office all of the feminists propaganda will be exposed and the real work of getting equality can begin. I do think there are women out there that could make excellent presidents. But radical man hating feminists have made it very hard for people to trust a female leader.

I say whoever will do the better job and whoever's voting history is better in line with my beliefs is the person who has my vote.
I've met some very emotional men and I'm known among my friends for never showing emotions. So don't assume that all women are emotional and all men are stoic.
EDIT: to the poster that brought up third world countries. What do you say about Queen Elizabeth I, didn't England conquer the Spanish Armada under her, only the greatest aquatic force at that time.

I do. I'm tired of men flexing their "muscle", or trying to win a pi**ing contest. And the myth that a woman president would be more "emotional" is a bunch of bull made up by men who are afraid to give the reins over. Men in power are not so much emotional as they have god complexes. I'm more afraid of that.

If you mean Hillary Clinton, I haven't made up my mind yet as she is far too beholding to both Corporate America & the far left radicals. Chuckle, I don't think Hillary is emotional at all.
I've had enough of Bush & the far right, for sure. As things stand now, anyone not a Republican looks pretty good, but I think a Clinton or Bush dynasty will finish off the country.
Someone needs to address the trade imbalance & out of control spending driving up the deficit. On top of that the American Middle Class is being destroyed as we continue to ceate a poverty class from them.

Women = a group of ladies
Woman = 1 lady
Any not sharp enough to realize that it doesn't matter whether the president is male or female is not worthy of casting a vote or asking that question in my opinion.
And furthermore, It is summarily impossible not to be emotional. The point is not to be RULED by your emotions when making decisions as President.

I would not oppose a woman President. I cannot say that I would support one until one came along that I felt could do a good job as President. I do not support sexes, or parties, or single issues. I support a candidate.
Currently there is no candidate running for President that also happens to be a woman that I would support.

I'll support any President who stands for freedom and the Constitution of the United States as well as one that shares my particular political view. I won't vote for someone who lets emotion trump morality good public policy nor someone who lets hormones affect their judgment too much (estrogen or testosterone). I would not vote for a woman simply because she is a woman nor because I have sense of 'trying to even things out'.

I support whichever president will get us out of the mess our current president put us in. I prefer to vote based on actual campaign platforms and political views, not the presence or absence of a penis.
Oh, and regarding your remark about "Leaders cannot be emotional," was that implying that a female President would be some sort of PMS-ing, moody mess who cries at State of the Union addresses and press conferences? If so, that is the most delusional, misogynistic comment I've heard all day. I'm sure you've heard of Margaret Thatcher? She is, in fact, a woman, yet I don't seem to recall her bursting into tears at a UN summit. Review your facts before asking a dumb question.

Depends on the person. I have meet a few really good female leaders. I have meet many good male leaders too. Then again I have worked with bad leaders of both genders.
I would never vote someone for that reason only.
Do you really think Bush is emotionless?

I would support a woman for president if I felt she were the person for the job. To assume that a woman is too emotional for the job or not qualified simply because she is a woman is moronic.
That said, I do not support Hillary because she supports everything that I am against. Besides, she's already had 8 years in office.
