Lately i just can't be bothered to go out or see friends, i make stupid excuses, and my boyfriend is worried. I just tell him its hormones! i feel like i just want to give up and fall to the ground, and constently feel depressed.
Up until a few months ago i was exercising, going out, doing stuff. Why have i given up-shall i see a doc or a psychiatrist

Hello. let me start by saying that I'm sorry you're feeling so down in the dumps. I have been there and it's lousey. Also, a "psychiatrist" is a "doctor". All psychiatrists are M.D.s
I think you're on the right track. See a doctor and be honest with your explanation of things.
You may also try to liven up your living space with colorful things and music. treat yourself to sweet smelling baths and buy yourself the most beautiful flowers imaginable. Get your favorite comedy film of all time and watch it. laugh a lot. Try some exercises in the house that require you to work up a sweat. Something energetic and fast paced. In the absence of that, dance! Dance a lot and very fast. it will invigorate you. I also suggest you sit down and write a heart warming letter of love and respect to the person that should matter most...You! put it in an envelope with a stamp and mail it. When you get it it will make you feel great. Finally..look in the mirror and say to yourself.."I love you more than anything on earth. You are first!"
I hope this all helps. let me know. Stay well and keep your head up!

It could be your hormones and changes are taking place in your body, but I would keep eating healthy and exercising even if it's just going for a walk, but don't give up your social life and let your boyfriend help you, especially if he is worried. And maybe seeing someone could help u figure out what is actually going on.

You may be having anxiety attacks or depression. If it continues you may want to go see your doctor. They could run test. Its best to address the situation before it gets worst. People usually over look this as an illness but it can destroy more than the person diagnosed.

To me it means the humidty is high and/or the sun hasn't been seen in more than a week.

If longer than a couple weeks, check out any changes in your diet, sleeping pattern or ??? before going to a doctor for who knows what tests. The doctor will know whether to send you on to a psychiatrist.

I'm not a doctor, but it sounds like you may be depressed!
I would take a look back on your life to see if anything has changed or maybe your unhappy about something and not expressing yourself. I would talk to your Doctor, its their job to help you in your time of need.
I hope you feel better soon!!!

I would suggest a doctor to get a good physical and to take some daily vitamins. It may be a problem with something like hypoglycemia, but it most likely is some physical problem so get that checked out, and feel better!!

in uk we would have to see the doctor to be referred to psych, but usually the doctor will deal with this if not a serious matter. if they are good they will spend time to talk you through what's been going on in your life lately and try and find the root cause. a blood test should be taken to eliminate any deficiencies, like iron (anaemia) for instance. Simple solution here would be iron supplements. your body is just letting you know it is not working as efficiently as it should and please have a check up

Sounds to me like you are over whelmed with to many things or you are feeling somewhat depressed. And this happens to all of us to some degree! May try and excercise a bit.. that always helps me out!

Good Luck!

Sounds like you answered your own question - you are depressed.
You can start to fight it yourself by getting up and doing all that exercising again. If you CAN start again on your own it really will help.
If you really can;t push yourself then maybe you need some help from the doc.
