have to settle for older women? somebody handpicked? i have borderline personality disorder and await therapy. but i like to think once ive worked through my problems i could get a nice girl friend.
but because i feel im physically ageing and im 29, and i have two missing teeth. at the bottom front. i worry i might be past the stage of being able to get a pretty girlfriend/ and will only be able to attract older women, and their not my preference. what does anyone think?

I'm not too sure who he was, the question was deleted, I put him as a contact and hope he is still there, however, my question has to do with some of the responces to his plea for help. There were plenty of great advice, plea's to not eat the bullet, wait a day, see a chaplin, and such, really good solid responces to steer him away from suicide. However, there were also morons that basically shut him down. These people are no better than those who stand on a sidewalk looking at a desperate soul on a ledge and screeming "JUMP". "David P" started his responce with name calling. I was going to search for the others as soon as I got on today but it's gone.

The question... What do you think Yahoo Answers should do with these losers who try to push people over the edge in suicidal cases? These morons who hide behind freedom of speech, when all they want to do is be responcible for someones death? I know what I would like to do to them, and it ain't pretty!

I was just wondering.... When I'm not working or when I'm unemployed and just looking for work or even when I have holidays, my confidence, self esteem goes sky high but when I do get back into work again, I feel that my confidence goes back down again after a few weeks and my performance is not that good. Why is that? Why cant I ever settle?

I am taking an Ast 101. I am a very fast test taker (25 mins ish) and I am always the first person to finish. I get A's on all my labs an on all my quizzes. I took another test this morning and I finished second.The teacher normally sits in the room but he had some who needed to talk to him outside of class.So he was outside while I was taking the test. And I sit next to my friend and i just told her not to quietly, that I will wait for her outside but to hurry. I told her this because I have work after class. I was told by her friend in class that some guy went up to a girl who sits relatively close to me and asked if I cheated!! I am so appauld. I get A's on everything and I am always the first person to finish! I dont understand why I would be accused of it. I am not sure if he told the teacher or if he is going to but it is ridiculous! What do I do or say if the teacher asks me?

so you know how everyone has really unique thoughts/feelings that sometimes can't be described in words? Like a dream--you can explain it as a series of events but its hard to describe how you felt and the ambiguity of it?
so how do you explain ambiguous thought sequences and feelings in words to do the most justice? besides similies and metaphors??

I suggest that the most powerful weapon of mass destruction is DEBT.

During the "cold war", we had MAD (Mutual Assured Destruction). Now, we dont have the American-Soviet threat anymore, but we still have MAD: Mutual Assured DEBT.

Global debt. Personal debt. International debt. Corporate debt. Government debt. Insolvency. Deficits. Global inter-related and inter-dependent debt.

National power is measured by which country has the most debt, and the strongest military. If any one country goes bankrupt, it brings down everybody else: MUTUAL ASSURED DEBT (MAD).

Am I right? Or wrong?

Why is it that some women cannot find meaningful relationships with other women? My entire life- all of my close friends have been male. I have had female friends, but none of them close, and they always ended up stabbing me in the back. I was never able to trust women as much as men. There was always this underlying competition going on between women and all other women, even the ones who were friends, and I never liked that. I would just much rather stay out of that. I have a female friend on Yahoo 360, who seems to be an exception to that, but I don't know her that well yet. Men have always been more respectful toward me, more down to earth, and I was always able to trust them more.I also find that I don't have much to talk to women about! They don't seem interested in the things that interest me. My brother and I were best friends all through childhood and high school. Even my husband & I were close friends before dating.

my dreams used to be so blurry and unclear. i couldnt make out expressions or clear feelings. after my suicide attempt. my dreams have all of a suden become clear. i dreamt i was dying and i could feeel the pain of it actually happening to me moments before. but the scene is skipped where i died and im on the other side conscience.. i also dreamt i plunged into the water but wiggled out however the dog was left behind and i assume drowned.... scene skips over and the dog appears back alive well and bathed. WEIRD. how do i enterprete?

I was browsing a German company's website that was affiliated with the American company I work for. And noticed that it stated that their "female" customer service staff would answer any questions between 8a-4pm ...I was like WTF!!?LOL I also visited Brandenburg I also observed several outright and somewhat belittling references to women. that were published or on websites...Is it cultural or what? I know that some american men can be misogynists, but I don't think I've ever read something like this for a job posting.. I'ts like "Hey women are obviously too stupid to work with men so we need to separate you from the rest of us"...confused need insight...somebody enlighten me.

O.K My girlfriend broke up with me 2 weeks ago. She gave pretty feeble excuses, and we had been dating for a year. I had no contact whatsoever with her, until she asked the other day if i would mind going for a drink with her as friends. I have studied more than I have ever studied before since being in college. I try so hard to get the grades and it just doesnt help. My gpa last quarter was a 2.83, now with Winter quarter ending, my gpa is dropping to a 1.88, which is devastating for me. I feel like such a failure and to top it off, it feels like I have to work extra harder because i am a minority. I asked to use other resources for my classes and I was told no. Can you tell me Why I am such a failure?
