O.K My girlfriend broke up with me 2 weeks ago. She gave pretty feeble excuses, and we had been dating for a year. I had no contact whatsoever with her, until she asked the other day if i would mind going for a drink with her as friends. I went along..we just argued..and she spent the whole time telling me about a guy friend she met up wiv 4 1st time in 3yr...i stupidly admitted i loved her, and said that this whole friends thing wasnt working, and i walked out of the room. Since, I get texts saying how hurtful she was, sorry,& could we be friends.i ignored her.she then asks my friends have they seen me today cos she's worried about me!Anyway, yest i had enough,& textd her back saying that she hurt me 2much & to leave me alone,i said u've moved on,so should i.anyway, she replied saying she still has feelings 4me,& misses parts of our relationship, but doesnt want to date again.i agreed to meet her 4drink,but i backed out, saying it was best 2go our separate ways!now we just ignore each othr

Seeing how feminism is gaining steam yet again, and female empowerment do women feel more inclined to date & marry...each other, and what effects will this have on society?

Seeing how women now are high income earners and for so long have been the second household earners, now they are slowly becoming top income earners and no longer require the financial stability that men used to provide...i.e. Leave it To Beaver...role reversal? Besides we all know men and women can't get along all that well but women and women seem to get along better with one another...are we going to witness a population decline or something? I always thought chemicals would eventually destroy male potency, but could that be harmed by scientifical advances i.e. labratory impregnantion, etc., and more lesbian couples...disinterest in the norm?

I had a dream

My home was a very large, slightly run down, single level building 200 yards from the beach with gentle dunes separating the house from the sea. (I wish)
Not surprisingly, the inside of the house was untidy and disorganised as is my real home. There were no walls or fences to separate my property from the rest of the world.

My problem with this dream was that each time I arrived home, either alone or with a friend, my ‘garden’, my porch (a large covered area with heavy curtains to keep out the sun on blistering hot days) and even my house was littered with strangers who were either picnicking in the dunes, sheltering from the searing sun in my porch or even making themselves comfortable on my sofa.
My home was seen as an amenity for all who passed by.

Getting them out was not difficult. Some were reluctant to be moved on from the space they had found, after all, it was rather comfortable and their kids were enjoying themselves, but most accepted the fact they had trespassed on someone's else's grounds and left, albeit unenthusiastically.
Slowly they all moved on leaving their litter, broken shoes, my rearranged furniture and I was alone again and peace and tranquility was restored.

One episode of a dream like this would have been interesting and even fun. I enjoyed the cajoling, the reasoned arguments and even the veiled humorous threats of evisceration if they didn’t leave my home.

To repeat the sequence throughout the night was tiring.
I’m glad today is saturday.

What are some options one has to attempt to over power someone at work? My boss will not talk to me, but just send emails to me and cc everyone else to prove that he told me something. I'll do it, but when he gives feedback, it goes out in a mass email. I'll return the email and reply to all, and explain what i've done. it's a like an email war. Can you say that you don't like your boss. I know your not suppose to say that at work, but what about internally. I want to like everyone as much as possible, but this guy just keeps sending out these gay emails , i.e. As per my request, you didn't do ... by this time, and I am really dissappointed ...". I'll verbally update him, but no one believes me. I have to send every peice of communication via email or no one will believe me. It's just freaking weird.

Why is this happening? You can't tell me that they all have bad relationships, are lonely or suffer from a bi-polar disorder. It's seems that those are the reasons they give for why they did it.
I think these women read about Mary Kay and Vili and figure that it's OK?

I was v happy in my childhood though I didnt have a perfect or good family atmosphere but in my surroundings I found it. I mean I had it in my neighbours a family environment and I used to feel apart of them but this happiness was not for a long time, my family moved out from that place and shifted in a new place and house, I was around 9 yrs old then.

After that I suffered loneliness I didnt have a good frnd or frnd till the age of 19 then I started going to coll and then frnds came into my life.
Even today I dont have good family environment and unconsciouly I try to find that family in my frnds and where I feel I can find. My prob is I make my own stories and family atmosphere in my mind, where I create characters for myself, like a mother, father, sister, brother, lover and many other who cares for me and who loves me alot.
I want to know is it a healthy thing? The love, the family, the friends I want and I dont have I create them in my imagination, is it a good sign? pls hlp.

I saw a question asked about whether poverty could ever be eradicated, and it really got me thinking. Could poverty ever be eradicted or would the west just change and improve their standard of living so that anything that was below a certain standard would be consider poor.
