Stock price $40 Market value of firm $400,000, Number of shares 10,000 Earnings per share $4, Book net worth $500,000, Return on investment 2% quarterly. Pisa has not performed spectacularly to date. However, it wishes to issue new shares to obtain $100,000 to finance expansion into a promising market. Pisa's financial advisers think a stock issue is a poor choice because, among other reasons, "sale of stick at a price below book value per share can only depress the stock price and decrease shareholders wealth." To prove the point they construct the following examples: "Suppose 2,500 new shares are issued at $40 and the proceeds are invested. (Neglect issue costs).

I realise that there are many people who have had bad experiences. But right now, right at this minute, I feel torn apart. I won't blame how I feel on whats happened to others or me, but it is a factor. And it just seems like I'm meant to be perpetually unlucky. I keep getting dreams or visions and they come true. Recently I have been getting visions about a boy who I know and went out with being extremely dangerous or untrustworthy - and today, half an hour ago, i got a call. I'm shocked by what I heard, but it is just tipping the iceburg towards suicide right now. Before all this I also had a call from my Mum on Wed last week saying that my brother nearly died in a car crash. I had only just had a session with my therapist talking about my past, when I got the text. I was chomatized, I didn't know what to feel, I just hoped he was ok. I hated hearing all this as my Nan only died last year, and my other brother Ian 2 yrs ago. But coinciding with this I was getting dreams of dying>

I myself am a dreamer, I'd be a hero with the power to Animate objects. I am an artist and procrastinate quite often so would also like Super-speed to accomplish my tasks faster. My kids and I throw this question at each other all the time, but I'm sure a few adults have thought about it.

I don't know if it's because they are much more morally determined or if it's because they don't spend so much time on football, but it has been scientifically proven women are much more upgraded than men in the intellect area. Why?

Where I live we seem to have a lot of women bankers. However I've heard that girls in school have a harder time initially with math, so this seems counterintuitive for them to be working with numbers every day if this holds up. Is it just a myth that girls have a harder time with math, or do they catch up and then enjoy it?

I'm asking this as an actual question, not to anger anyone. I do like the women bankers.

Hello, i was wondering anyone could help? Do you think if you asked a guy out when it was obvious that he liked you and he lied and said he had a g/f, but after that he still acted like he liked you...why would he do that? what does this mean? Is he afraid of something? or does he just not like the girl? could a teenage boy do that just because he's afraid to ruin his reputation with his freinds or could it possibly be because of low self esteem? or could it be because he didn't know how to respond? all helpful answers are greatly appreciated. Thanks

Does economic freedom help explain why the standard of living improves in some countries and declines in others?and what contries do you think are really good examples of this?

Despite an overall rise in global standards of living during the last century, conditions have not improved equally in every country. One country's policies and institutions may improve the well being of its people, while another country's policies and institutions lead to decline.

I am the youngest, and I have found that suprisingly all of the girls I have been involved with or interested in have been the oldest or second oldest. One time a girl I was chatting with/dating actually told me you kind of remind me of my younger brother. Am I the only one to notice this; is there any truth to my suspicions.

Okay, I have a major alcohol problem. Around 11 last night, I called my friend to pick me up from the club. I was too drunk to drive. Anyway, he said we were going to Las Vegas and to get comfortable. I crashed in the backseat. Him and our other friend, Ryan, were in the front. I woke up just after 2 and realized we were parked somewhere. The guys weren’t in the car. I looked around and didn’t recognize where I was. I was still drunk, stumbled out of the car, and walked about 100 feet to where an old building was (I could see a light inside). Within a couple minutes I realized my friends were robbing this building. I started to freak on them, yelling about what they could be doing. Next thing you know the cops arrive. My friend was back in the car by this time, so he couldn’t run, but Ryan and I took off. I tripped, bruised my leg, and got a slight cut on my head while being arrested. I have never been in trouble and am not sure what got into my friends.

last night, i was turning the light out to go to sleep, and a few minutes after that, a light from outside cast shadows along my wall (my room faces a forest, not the street). i dismissed the light as a helicopter, as i have seen that light often on previous occasion.but last night after i saw the shadows, i started to get this really unusual feeling in my stomach, like something very bad was going to happen, and the images of people breaking in and killing me were flashing thru my mind.. it was terrifying! i began to get a headache and it was getting harder to breathe. i felt like there were people outside watching me, and the room was getting smaller. after awhile, if i even glanced at the window i would get the vivid pictures flash through my head again, and the windows became a terrifying part of my room. i burst into tears of fear and confusion and ran upstairs and slept on the couch but i didnt get much sleep... im so scared.. what happened to me? why do you think this happened?

Theres this girl in my class who is always sucking up to the teachers or all adults for that matter. Can I do this for you or Can I help you with that? She's almost like a clone. Before every test she sits real straight, sharpens two pencil and looks so intense. I think she's a habitual liar or she has 2 of everything every person has. Better this, better that. She says mean things to people. For example, "Do you own a brush" or that new shirt does nothing for you. How do you handle someone like this? She seems to have to be better at everything. What makes a person like this? By the way her mother is twice as bad. This girl told the whole class that her mother said she was smarter and better than anyone else. The kicker is she's 13 years old. Shouldn't she know better by now? Help. I'm ready to just slap her.
