last night, i was turning the light out to go to sleep, and a few minutes after that, a light from outside cast shadows along my wall (my room faces a forest, not the street). i dismissed the light as a helicopter, as i have seen that light often on previous occasion.but last night after i saw the shadows, i started to get this really unusual feeling in my stomach, like something very bad was going to happen, and the images of people breaking in and killing me were flashing thru my mind.. it was terrifying! i began to get a headache and it was getting harder to breathe. i felt like there were people outside watching me, and the room was getting smaller. after awhile, if i even glanced at the window i would get the vivid pictures flash through my head again, and the windows became a terrifying part of my room. i burst into tears of fear and confusion and ran upstairs and slept on the couch but i didnt get much sleep... im so scared.. what happened to me? why do you think this happened?

Are you going through a tough time? Or maybe just because it was dark... sometimes, say when i'm home alone... i become really aware of everything else and noises outside and get that unusual stomach feeling. I'm not too sure about the killing thing... maybe you were just a bit scared? I would be if i could see shadows, it was dark and strange lights.

You had a panic attack. Very scary, I know but they are treatable. Lots of people with overactive imaginations get them because they think of scenarios kind of like the way you did. The what ifs?. If you continue to have them, I would talk to your parents about getting you some meds. Panic attacks are very treatable. In the meantime, it helps to close your eyes and think of something that makes you happy while inhaling and exhaling verrrry slowly to calm yourself down. It'll be ok hun.

A flashback from a previous life maybe? You could go and seek professional help but they'll just drug you forever. If it keeps happening you migh need a cleansing in your home. It sounds like a panic attack that's what the professionals will tell you.

what did you eat before you went to bed? when i was a kid, if I ate sliced cheese before I went to bed, I had terrible nightmares, I love to eat cheese by the slice and I finally linked my nightmares to the cheese, when I quit eating it before I went to bed, the nightmares stopped. maybe it is something you ate or drank before going to bed. try it again and you will know if it is causing it. I was taking some medication a few months ago and just as I began to fall asleep, two nights in a row, I saw a doberman pinscher sitting beside the bed staring at me, it was so real, it amazed me. haven't seen the dog since. and it looked like the same doberman I use to have which is dead now, maybe my conscience or the dogs spirit. , who knows. you will get past your murderers too.

I'm sure it was just a sudden burst of imagination. . .Everything you felt could have been an anxiety attack brought on by your own minds games. . .However, I really can't say, as I am not the one who experienced it. . .Good luck!
