I actually did find a $100 bill on the ground in May of 2006. It was brand-new. I wondered what to do with it but because I missed a day of work. I had food poisoning and could not stay off the toilet. It was awful! I wanted to give it to the church on whose property I found it. I consulted my dad and ultimately decided to keep it as a gift from God for my missed wages on his advice. I'm pretty sure God didn't mind...

I was in Dulles International Airport a few years ago. A man came up to me and asked if the $10 bill laying at my feet was mine. I looked down and there it was. I said No, upon which he bent down, picked it up and walked away. I felt no remorse at not saying Yes, because it was not my money. I am not a money-grubber...

I work in retail, and have found money on the floor in my store often. Since there are cameras all over that store, and I am in management, I do the right thing and hold on to it until someone comes looking for it.

Now if I was out and about, and grab that thing right off the ground and put it in my pocket and go do something nice for myself :) I'm only human, come on.

I have a small global glass that I once used to allow new purchases of live fish to water temperature. Amy money picked from the ground goes into it. Thay goes to the purchase of blankets I give out to the elderly homeless folks during the cold season. Homelessness has been on the rise since Bush entered the White House. I don't send money to institutionalized charity anymore. They'd probably use the money to organize activist activities and protect the illegals. The elderly poor Americans have become the last in priority, served by our government in this nationm and they do need the American Public's help.

Depends. If I saw who dropped it, or it was obvious where or who it came from, I'd give it back. If I'm just walking down the street, and find a $100 bill on the ground, I'd probably use it to go grocery shopping. (Boring, I know, but I'm a mother of two little ones. Diapers are expensive.)

Keep it, once you ask around to find out who lost it, you would be surprised as to how many people lost a hundred dollar bill that day. How do you fairly determine who is telling the truth, everyone is a crook these days!

Look around to see if some elderly person near by was searching in a purse or pants pocket, fumbling about. And if so I would investigate a bit. Otherwise I would pick it up and whistle all the way home! And look up to heaven and say "Thank you God!" :)

If I saw who dropped it then I'd return it. But if there was no one around looking for what they lost then I'd keep it and probably pay a bill or donate to my church.

Pocket it and have a 30 minutes wait for the lost owner to come back. If they don't, ah ha....spend spend spend and TOTO!
