Hello, i was wondering anyone could help? Do you think if you asked a guy out when it was obvious that he liked you and he lied and said he had a g/f, but after that he still acted like he liked you...why would he do that? what does this mean? Is he afraid of something? or does he just not like the girl? could a teenage boy do that just because he's afraid to ruin his reputation with his freinds or could it possibly be because of low self esteem? or could it be because he didn't know how to respond? all helpful answers are greatly appreciated. Thanks

It does not look like you need help. He does...

He is not sure what he wants in life and therefore he pulls you in the middle.

As for you, concentrate on something else or you may regret.

Sounds like a little harmless flirting to me, but if he actually does have a girlfriend, then he's not a person you should go out with. Who's to say that he won't start flirting with another girl when he is going out with you, and decide to go out w/her?!? just something to think about.

hmm most guys i know dont really have that low self esteem but that can definitely be a possibility. and theres the reputation part..maybe hes playing hard to get. if your like 100% certain he likes you, just flirt a bit until you can get him to ask you out.

It sounds like he is a flirt and just likes the attention he gets from you.
If I were you I would leave him alone for a bit and he'll come around to you if he likes you.
