Seeing how feminism is gaining steam yet again, and female empowerment do women feel more inclined to date & marry...each other, and what effects will this have on society?

Seeing how women now are high income earners and for so long have been the second household earners, now they are slowly becoming top income earners and no longer require the financial stability that men used to provide...i.e. Leave it To Beaver...role reversal? Besides we all know men and women can't get along all that well but women and women seem to get along better with one another...are we going to witness a population decline or something? I always thought chemicals would eventually destroy male potency, but could that be harmed by scientifical advances i.e. labratory impregnantion, etc., and more lesbian couples...disinterest in the norm?

Trend ? No... It just gets publicized more here. They are everywhere, in every country. Why some even care is beyond me but they simply like to advertise it.

Perhaps one day I along with many others will get a billboard and advertise that we are heterosexual.

: )

Happy Saturday !

I think it's becomming more common because people are more comfortable being themselves. Things ahve been getting better and better over time for people who are gay so they have less of a reason to hide. I don't think more people are becomming gay. I just think we know about it more. I doubt there will be a population decline. There still aren't that many people who are gay comparitavely. I want to say it's something like 2% of the population. If they continue to adopt though we may see a decline in unloved children in orphanages which is a good thing.

I have watched women take the role that men once had and on most occasions the same firm and aggressive nature was adopted and displayed. So I do not believe gender has any thing to do with how one gets to the top of a cooperation. Just like in groups of animals there is always an"Alpha" female/male(not to discriminate). In lesbian relationships their is an "Alpha". But the human race would not survive if all went to same sex relationships. We must reproduce in order to survive. There is ALWAYS a provider and a protector in every joining. It is the law of nature and survival.

Interesting what you say. An important premise is that women are not attracted to men because they are subjugated or earn less then they do. It is biological for some women. Being empowered does not make you a lesbian.

It does however allow us to choose men that are worthy rather then losers.

Further, I get along better with men that with women. They are so much catier and bitchier then guys are. So another statement you made was a bit illogical.

My attraction to women is purely sexual.. for my pleasure.. Not emotional like my love for my husband.

There is nothing new about lesbian and gay couples. Maybe what you see more of is people who are not ashamed to openly live with, and admit they love a person of the same sex. This has more to do with humanism and equality, although empowerment is certainly a part of having the self efficy to live your life honestly and happily, despite the opinion ignorant people may have of you.

Homosexuality is more acceptable now so it is just more visible. Gay men are more visible than ever too? Are you going to claim that gay men are the new trend too? Despite how visible homosexuality is these days it is nowhere near the norm.

I don't think it is a trend as much as more and more homos are coming out of the closet, especially the younger ones.

As for women "turning" lesbian because they are now empowered... well, being homo isn't a choice.

Just because one dislikes sexism doesn't mean that one dislikes sex with men.

The smart feminists are abandoning lesbianism because men have caught on to the feminist fraud that has spread throughout America. Only the stupid feminists are continuing with the lesbians facade.

If anything, people are more in-your-face about their perverse behavior.

What I find interesting is that in a lesbian relationship, typically one of them tends to look more like a MAN.

What does that tell you?
