I can see how this quote has some logic to it. I know some people who are HIV+ and, of course, when they first found out they were devastated. But after acceptance of it, they seem more content and that their quality of life has actually improved. Almost as if they appreciate it more....that seems like real life to me.

No,i had cancer and was cured and no not really
But, that's just me, others would be different, everyone different,I think any day is a great day to die . have felt that way for many years
none of my people are friends who have died ever really noticed any change of consciousness,they never shared any diferent views to me,there was no changeing of beliefs are ways of life,they were not afraid of death
a person would think it would change a person but it doesnt much.
