It sounds like you feel very comfortable around him and want to share things with him about your life and experiences. Sometimes people will talk more than usual if they are nervous, also. I think he probably finds it interesting and likes the fact that you can joke about yourself too and don't take yourself so seriously. Good luck, I hope things work out between you.

It doesn't sound like a good thing to me. You do it because you do not know what else to do. On the other hand, it's not like you've been doing this for forty years. Just learn. Look where your habit gets you, and decide if that's what you want.

The ideal is to be able to just be able to talk to people about topics of mutual interest. And to have crushes on people who have interests and the ability to talk about them. Not to just ramble on about yourself. Learn to maintain the mystery for a little while.

One good way to approach a new person is to sort of pretend like you are the host of your own talk show. Engage them, ask them questions.

Your mind is probably racing and you are so overwhelmed by your emotions, things are coming out of your mouth that surprise you. This is not unusual! Next time you see him why don't you take a deep breath and try to remain calm. Deliberately speak less and try to listen more.

you want attention. insecure about some things. you're trying to make sure you're crush is focused on you ... worrying that if they're not you're losing not just their attention for the moment. love yourself! accept yourself. plus, i remember a great line i heard and believe ... "if you want to be interesting, be interested!" (in others). People want to be liked, important, right, and appreciated (LIRA). Supply that and you'll get it right back.
