I live near Chicago and it's been stormy all day and all through last night. Today when it was actually calm, it got cloudy and I automatically knew that there was something weird going on and then the tornado sirens went off and afterwards I still saw the funnel cloud.
So, how do I know that something similar is happening at night time, without looking online or turning on the weather channel?

Just in case it does happen.

I think remnant of hurricane Dean will affect to southern California this weekend and may bring need rain to Los Angeles.

What do you think about? answer me how much rain inches Los Angeles this weekend? and explain me how this system affect L.A. I think may will receive 0.10 inches in L.A. this weekend. even able more rainfall than .10 inches.

Look fact L.A. average rainfall month of August is 0.13 inches.
Never rain L.A. in August for almost 20 years. I hope this will end longest no rain in August this weekend also need rainfall.
