I hate the cold, no let me say I ABHOR the cold.
I can't stand ice, I thrive in 75% humidity and a nice dry 100 degrees F is a pleasant day.

I grew up in Houston Texas, along the Gulf Coast of Texas so yes I like the hotter weather. Of course I still melt in the heat and when it gets too hot then I complain like the next guy. My most expensive months are August and July because of the heat.

I remember when I was in the Army we would often go to the field and I like to wear the chemical protection suit for the extra warmth it gave me. Imagine a thick cloth suit, that is near air tight with a charcoal inner layer; that's a chemical protective suit.

Yes, I prefer it to winter, although here in deep south Texas our winters are extremely short. This year, however has been a very humid and wet summer, compared to our usual dry heat. I suffer from allergies in both type of summers, but the humid summer is less of a bother. Whenever you are down here do not forget to visit South Padre Island.

I couldn't imagine living in a place where it is warm all year round. I like the 4 seasons, and winter can be as fun as summer is.
