It's "training" meaning just one storm after another. It did this back in 96 or 97 (don't I sound like a geezer?) and flooded lots of homes.

Our local "Weatherbug" said that our area got 13" of rain last weekend, and there's a good 4" in my raingauge just from this afternoon.

Yesterday morning I woke up to news helicopters overhead - not a good way to start the day!

Not once, but twice you had severe thunderstorms August 23, the first just before 5:00 pm EDT, the second was during the 7:00 pm EDT hour, the first one caused massive damage and even collapsed a warehouse injuring 40.

I don't know, but it's getting a bit stupid.

There is a video at the URL below of the storm I found.
