I have been taking prozac on and off for about two years. Most recently I was on 40mg for a few months, then I went back to 20mg. I have been on 20 mg for about a month and a half.now and am going to get some 20mg scored pills in two days. If I cut these pills in half and take 10mg for 2 weeks and then take 10mg every other day for two more weeks, then quit, is that a good idea??

My mom thinks she will die from having surgery by getting her gallstones removed. It's ridiculous. She won't remove the thought of dying out of her mind.. she is literally afraid of death and is having second thoughts about the surgery. I keep on telling her it aint open heart surgery! How can i make her feel better?

I was given 2 consent form for vaccinations. The first is a vaccination for Diphtheria, Tetanus and Whooping Cough(DTPa) with only 1 injection whilst the second is for Cervical cancer(The vaccination is called GARDASIL.) which is given as 3 seperate injections over the year!!Most pple pick up the virus at some time after they become sexuallly active.
Some pple may also get a bruise or a lump, which will go away after a week or two.

Im only 15 and I seriously DONT want to have 4 total injections throughout the year. But I want to be prevented from diseases!!!

How how? Should i get it or not?

I have a deviated septum and I suspect other sinus issues. I went to the doctor and wanted to set up a time for getting it fixed. The doctor wanted to have a cat scan done to check to see what else might be going. I called back a few days later and was told that the doctor did not want to give me my results over the phone and told me I have to wait until my next appointment which is on 3/6. Is this normal? If nothing was wrong why wouldnt they just tell me? Am i just being paranoid or should I be concerned. Is this normal procedure in a doctors office.

I have polycystic ovary syndrome and for my first baby, took a combination of clomid and metformin with no problems. This time around, things have been a little different. I have been taking at least 200 mg of Advil almost everyday for the last year because of arthritis and am unsure if that is something that can cause the lactic acidosis or not. Has anyone had a similar experience? It's confusing because some of the symtoms to look out for as far as lactic acidosis are similar to the side effects for metformin. If anyone has any answers for me, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I had general anesthesia for surgery and woke up in hospital screaming and swearing.

Tomorrow I go in for conscious sedation for a colonoscopy.

I worry about how I will wake up vs. how I did under anesthesia and if I will be freaking out tomorrow !
