My husband has high levels of lead and his company only tests through the blood. Lead doesn't stay in the blood so that is not an accurate test. It only shows what you are recently exposed to. After 20 years of being exposed to lead, he now has Parkinson's and we had his lead levels tested in other ways beside the blood. We used a urine test and a Hair test. His lead levels are off the chart.

When I go green I really lose weight, so why is it that cows do fatten up instead? I really do not understand how a cow could possibly be so big and bulky when they only feet on pasture. Some of you will surely think I am not for real, but I am not joking: I am asking because I really do not know the answer. Does anybody want to help?

What is the weight of a column of water 7 ft high with a radius of 1.1m?
The density of the water is 1000 kg/m/m/m
Answer in units of N.

Volume = pi * r^2 * h
7 ft = 2.1336 m
Weight = Volume * Density

Volume = 3.14 * 1.1^2 * 2.1336 = 8.1064 m^3
Weight = 8.1064 m^3 * 1000 kg/m^3
Weight = 8106.39984 kg
1 Newton = kg * m/s2

Yes, I'm not a chemist... but I do like chemistry. I'd like it even more if it wasn't so intricate with so many unnecessary distinctions to make between stuff! But anyway, I'm doing a chemical reactions unit and it's not THAT bad, there's single displacement, double displacement, synthesis and decomposition... I just got lost when we brought in combustion and sorta got neutralization. I have some chem. problems here, can anyone explain them to me? I know the rxns but I just don't get combustion and whether they're aqeuous or not. Here:
1.) Acetic Acid + Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) = ?
2.) Copper wire in flame makes...?
3.) Mg + lead II nitrate makes...?
4.) hydrochloric acid + sodium hydroxide= ?
5.) lead II nitrate + potassium iodide=?
6.) copper II sulfate + iron=?
7.) copper II sulfate pentahydroxide in flame makes...?!

Is hydrogen aqueous? Is iron? Is Mg? And when is it a gas or liquid? Can you balance the eqns. too plz?

Thanx for your help!

I was just wondering, what phylums are flowering plants. Wikipedia says it is Magnoliophyta, but my biology teacher says that it is wrong.
All answers must be reasonable and come from a reliable source(wiki doesn't count), and if you are a biologist, goodie.
