The players on the Dunkers basketball team must win at least twice as many games as they lose to make the playoffs. Graph the set of points (L,W) that satisfy these conditions.

I know that the inequality would be (W > or equal to 2L), and I also know that the graph would consist of discrete points because you cannot have a portion of a win or loss. However, I don't know what the set would be. Would it be infinite, and if so how would I graph that? Or, is there a certain number of games that are to be played, even though it doesn't specify?

Thanks for any help you can be.

I've heard of coins that sort of 'ring' or reverberate a sound when you tap them on a hard surface... do they exist (maybe I'm thinking of some story...), and if so, where can I get one? And also, what properties do these coins have that makes them ring?

Can you tell whether a tree is a hardwood or a softwood by the color the leaves change to in the fall. I have been told that the harder the wood the more red the color. True or an old wives tale?

In the laboratory, 5.17 g of Sr(NO3)2 is dissolved in enough water to form 0.650 L. A 0.100 L sample is withdrawn from this stock solution and titrated with a 0.0360 M solution of Na2CrO4. What volume of Na2CrO4 solution is needed to precipitate all the Sr2+(aq) as SrCrO4?

(in liters)

My parents both died and I am 26 yrs. old. My father died when I was 22 and my father died when I was 23-1/2. About a year after she died, I was falling to sleep, and not quite there but heard her call my name. It shocked me and I woke up instantaneously with my heart beating. Was this really her or just me thinking of her subconsciously?

For a lab study, we investigated the effect of four different colors of light (red, blue, green, and yellow) on the rate of photosynthesis of the ivy plant. In terms of my graph/lab reports, would I call these colors of light different "wavelengths" of light even though no lengths were measured, OR would I call the colors "hues," "shades," or simply "light quality?" What does "light quality" even mean anyways? Well, I hope someone might be able to help....thanks in advance.

Ive been working on filling some coin books for family members. But I hit a brick wall. Some of the coins of the same year and mint mark, weere made of different materials. So I need to find a way to tell the difference between a copper coin, and a zinc coin that DOESNT damage the coin in the proccess. Anyone got any helpful ideas?

I personally think it's the egg. The animals/mammals might've gotten together and bore a mutated egg which led to the creation of the chicken.

I'm trying to visualize shock waves for gas flow in piping systems (choke flow); but all there seems to be out there is for external flow (aeronatics). Is there a picture of a shock wave on a PSV or orifice plate for choked flow, I'm having trouble visualizing pressure waves for pipe flow, its easy to see for aircraft but not for gas flow in piping systems (restriction orifices, PSV's etc.).
