its 5:56 AM right now im sittin here wit da lights on i just woke up from what I believe was a paranormal experience.

Let's start off by saying that I was sleeping and dreaming and all the sudden I woke up and I noticed the moonlight reflecting perfectly onto my ceiling

...from that point on it looked out the window and the wind was blowing quite strongly.

i look at my ceiling and the moonlight was then reflecting somethign spinning, comparable to a helicoptor properllor.

AT THIS POINT i felt as if there was extreme pressure on me,
on my arms, my whole body, and i felt as if i was
being dragged to the right side..

i tried moving but everthing was in slow motion for me. i got chills running down mmy spine rigt now..

I felt consumed in a force which made my body move in slow motion..i tried reaching up and my arms couldnt extend, a force prevented me.

i tried moving but every movement was SLOW..as if its slow motion..and eventually it went away. what was th

Or this is an old/ancient? Masonic game?

I'm from Australia, and i've always been able to see the stars easily. My husband and i are moving to america though, and i want to be able to keep the stars as a memory, as they all have really special meanings. But, i've been told there's many places that you can barely see the stars, and i was wondering, is there anywhere you can see them clearly that's not right out in the country?

I know 10% you just drop the last number and subtract it, so 10.99 you drop the last nine so it is 1.09, round up to 1.10 discount...... But what about 15%? 20%? How can you calculate those in your head?

I need to find a way of heating large volumes of rapidly moving air (wind) quickly, so as to create an artificial thermal that preceeds below an aerofoil wing for the generation of lift. What device can I use to heat the surrounding air effectively enough to create a thermal, that has no moving parts at all, and that can be interfaced with a solar panel??

Did gravity challenge Scriptures?

Do you know he spent half his time on researching the bible with scientific zeal?

Didn't he calculate the anti-Christ would happen now? Could the Anti-Christ be Isreal or radical Islam? Or was it the rapture? Jesus return?

I forget which, but all those centuries ago Newton calculated a current date would fullfill Bible prophecy, and published it!

A 920 g rock is whirled in a horizontal circle at the end of a 1.5 m-long string.

If the breaking strength of the string is 120 N, what is the maximum allowable speed of the rock?

At this maximum speed, what angle does the string make with the horizontal?

My Work:

I have successfully found the max speed to be 14 m/s (which is the correct answer) and I assumed that the angle it makes with the horizontal at the speed 14 m/s was zero since I used zero for theta to get the speed in the first place but it was incorrect.

I tried using 180 and 360 and a whole bunch of crazy unrelated thetha just for the heck of it and none of em seems to work.

Am I missing something big here?

Thanks

Each side of a square is increasing at a rate of 6 cm/s. At what rate is the area of the square increasing when the area of the square is 16 cm^2?

My work:

Given = 6 cm/s
Unknown= dx/dt when x = 4

A=x^2

(dA/dr)(dr/dt)=2x(dx/dt)

(dA/dt)=2x(dx/dt)

6 cm/s=2(4)cm(dx/dt)

6/8 s=dx/dt

The obvious thing i have wrong is that the rate turned into seconds. The second thing is, the answer is 48cm^2/s.

Please help! I already tried doing wierd things to the problem like using 36cm^2/s^2 and 96cm^3/s as the rates. . .
