Which would you rather have? A pound of dimes or a pound of quarters?

It depends on how much one quarter weighs and how much one dime weighs. A quarter is 2 1/2 times the value of a dime. If a quarter weighs more than 2 1/2 times than of a dime, I'll take the pound of dimes. Otherwise I'll take the pound of quarters.

I'm thinking that a quarter weighs close to 2 1/2 times than a dime. In that case, there wouldn't be much difference between the value of a pound of dimes vs. a pound of quarters.

i aint british, but if you want to give me a pound i'd rather have the lighter ones. my purse might not have the capability to carry the heavier pound around for so long before it tear apart.
