The real question I'm trying to ask is HOW EXACTLY DO THEY RESPOND WHEN A REIKI PRACTIONER MERELY WALKS THROUGH A STABLE??

It's obviously understandable why they'd respond to reiki treatments like anyone/anything else
PLEASE DESCRIBE HOW THE HORSE[S] REACT when you [if your a practioner or reiki] just walks thru the stable?
thanks
coz so far it seems to me, horses only have a few reactions
just can't imagine them having a wider range of reactions other than I've observed

I wrote down in my notes or biology that adrenaline is a protein. If it is a protein then it can't be a part of endocrine signaling which involves hormone. Protein can't enter the plasma membrane like steroid hormone. So is adrenaline made in the pituitary gland? and is it a protein or steroid?

I'm doing a presentation Monday and I don't think I have enough stuff to talk for enough time.. I need some unique attributes of a Euglena! (ex. 'Can use photosynthesis as well as ingest food'). Please help, I'm having trouble finding them. List as many as you can!!

I do not want very detailed things, like it's length/speed. Just blunt facts like "Euglena has a contractile vacuole which prevents the cell from bursting." (Thanks Chez for your answer but I need less precise facts). So if anyone knows, I need to know:

1) Unique Parts
2) Unique functions/attributes.

Thanks in advance.

I think I understand what the theories say. I know there are many different theories, but I am looking for a basic idea of some of them. The one I know is the one that theorizes that everytime there is a random chance, the universe splits and creates a universe for each outcome. How accurate is this? What are some other theories?

an unknown solid acid is either citric acid or tartaric acid. to determine which acid you have, you need to titrate a sample of the solid with NaOH. The appropriate reactions are:

citric acid
H3C6H5O7 + 3NaOH --> Na3C6H5O7 +3H2O

tartaric acid
H2C4H4O6 +2NaOH --> Na2C4H4O6 + 2H2O

you find that a .956 g sample requires 29.1 ml of .513 M NaOH for titration to the equivalence point. What is the unknown acid?

I got citric acid. but i'm not sure. could you show me how you go to the answer...because i figured out the moles then i did some stoichiometry and then i don't know exactly what i did...but i got citric acid. please help!!

thank you.

I'm writing a sci fi story, and would like to keep it internally consistant.

A major consideration would be detailed information on the conditions of nearby planets. I do know most of the very basics of all the planets (and a tiny bit on Pluto), such as Mercury rotates slowly, and sunside is devastatingly hot, whereas nighttime is freezing cold, Jupiter produces its own heat, etc.

I'm hoping for more in depth info on the nature of planets in our solar system, and it would be fantastic if someone had info or links to info on planets on nearby solar systems.

Also, any good astronomy links in general would be appreciated.

When the canoe is at rest in the placid water, they exchange seats, which are 3.0 cm apart and symmetrically located with respect to the canoe's center. Ricardo notices that the canoe moves 40 cm horizontally relative to a pier post during the exchange and calculates Carmelita's mass. What is it?

Is it likely that the low grade metamorphics sandwiched between higher grade metamorphics in the Inner Piedmont of Alabama are the result of two episodes of hydrothermic flow through different levels (where the higher grades are?)

I'm not at all familiar with the geology there, so extra detail is welcome.
