At this site are numerous current pictures of the lava flow in Hawaii. Many times I see a geologist/official taking samples of the lava and cooling it off quickly in a can of water. What are they testing or going to test it further for? (yep, it's lava alright)

How come we cannot go to a large telescope, pay a fee and go see for ourselves the evidence. They would make an absolute fortune if they opened a telescope to the public one day a week so we could go see for ourselves the flag, the buggy and other stuff left there. Do you think it is because they are not really there??

I was at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in late July and during a severe lightning storm nobody was told to go inside. The lightning was air to ground and as intense as any I've seen in Florida. Yet we were made to feel perfectly safe waiting outside in the pouring rain under a canopy. Is lightning actually nonlethal in northern states but absolutely deadly in Florida?

So i have picked between either of these majors and am going on to get an masters degree then MBA after college. my question is which can i get more involved with marketing/sales? my future goals are to make alot of money this way and start researching/working on anything space oriented stuff far as getting our race off the planet and to the moon and beyond. with electrical engineering i could explore new energy technoloies but with mechanical i could just as well design the spaceships themselves! can you see the predicament im in? i just cant decide which has the most practicality for the rest of my life according to my goals. far as position id like to be a ceo hence getting the MBA degree. (dont you hark on me you English majors, i know i there are some misspelled words ha). thanks -Nate
