pd..I think the reason it can't be proven is because you can't MAKE it happen...it just happens when it wants to.Usually people have no idea it's happening until the other person tells them or confirms it.

Yes...
on the chopping block. Every one has the ablity to explore there own gifts. Just an example, some people can sing while other can not carry a tune. this does not mean then will never learn.
If I let my self, not just my self, but my mind relax and become quiet. I can usually look at a person and unwind the life. I'm not sure how it really works. It just as if I where that person and seen what has happen. I get very tired if I look into a persons future. I not only see the paths that they are likely to take, but the other chooses given to them.

I have onced had a.... Lest say a dark friend or shadow whiper to me ...It's not her time jet, don't worry... This is not the time for her to go.
This was a time when my mother had a sever heart act and even the doctors at the hospital where I work said it did not look good for her.
As a child I was empathic to the touch, but later in my teens I learnt to control it. Then the life experiences started. It's very hard to start a relationship when you can see how things are going to be.
I have tried many of times to change things but it always seems to happen no matter how hard I try, just takes long to happen and some times the out come is worst.
I like to call it the chess game of the gods.
I also believe that is why some of the great minds of Our History have gone mad. They had the gift and could not change what they saw and did not know how to let go of what they had seen.

Yes, but I won't follow some rule book because I've glanced a few and I feel they were written for the person who wrote them and their own abilities. As an example I have interpreted dreams before. Someone would tell me a dream and I would just know what it meant. I don't need a book. I looked at one book briefly and as an example it said things like a bird meant this or that a cloud meant this. I think when you "hear" a dream and you are with that person you are also going into that individual and also taking part in their visualization and feeling with them too. So when the interpretation comes its an individual one on one thing. I've also for what ever reason have seen the future or the beginning and the end of things. I have had some bad experiences and guilt about it too. I remember looking at a pregnant lady and visualizing myself telling her to go to her doctor. It was very loud and me looking in her face and telling her to go right now. I was embarrassed and thought I was going to make a fool of myself. I already had so much problems with the office politics already. So I treated it like my imagination. She didn't go to work the next day and her big beautiful 10lb baby was still born. The placenta was starting to tear away and finally did. He was a little past the due date. He had only been dead several hours when the doctor took him out.

Look into remote viewing. I have recently recalled what seems to be repressed memories of being part of this experimental program using "gifted" children when I was around 11 years old back in the early 70's. It's also my understanding that many of these so-called gifted children may actually be abductees with communications implants and hybrids which may have natural abilities genetically engineered into them. We are not alone and probably haven't been since the very beginning. I am also under the impression that there are spirits trying desperately to connect with us and warn us about dangers etc. There's always room for fraud that makes others appear to be also. It's still interesting reading and watching anyway. No doubt not every popular medium out there will be right all of the time and could be given false information by some so-called demonic prankster or spirit. There's really nothing wrong with being an objective critic or skeptic and raise an eyebrow about these stories. Someone or something appears to be playing mind games with us regardless. Maybe they're just plain bored with us and want to have some:"FUN" every once in awhile.

I do. I'm a scientist and a very hard skeptic for paranormal activity. This is due to the non-scientific way people jump to conclusions for most alternative science. But make no doubt, ESP is real. There are occurances from friends and other family members where there is strong evidence that they are picking up thoughts from others. Note that I wrote "evidence", not "proof".

There is no evidence to support the existence of ESP. That doesn't prove ESP doesn't exist. There is no reason to believe we are able to read the minds of others, nor is there any mechanism or phenomenon know that would account for such an ability. When you consider all of that you are faced with the incredibly low probability that ESP exists.

ESP has been tested on both human and electronic subjects. The better the test methods used the lower the success.

i have somewhat of a theory (i apoligize if this confuses or contradicts any laws or other theories)-

all things are made of matter, and energy. people are no exception, but what i think is that some pople can contol their "energy". im not sure this is the right term for it, but say you are really close with a certain person. you put your energy into that person, therefore, a part of you is in them. i think if you put enough of your energy into a certain person, and they put theirs into you, a bond is formed that may cause a link of communication between you two even if you arent anywhere near each other. twins are often reported to have an esp bond, and i think that is because they have been together since conception, and share alot of their energy. but it is also reported between spouses or bffs so it can be any two people who are especially close.

just my theory, not explained very well... =(

Yes I believe in ESP. Few of us can control it. These scientific testings are for the birds if the ability or gift comes and goes. I often wonder how some psychics can keep it going 24/7, I even find it hard to believe. I am answering your question as you offered to expound. Please do. Would love to hear of your experiences.

I'm willing to admit I believe in ESP because I had an undeniable experience. I don't concern myself with who may or may not believe me, but I'd sure like to know what causes these phenomena. I believe these events to be rare, and I am aware that there are plenty of people misrepresenting themselves to make money.

Albert Einstein theorized that one day we would become pure energy, (ever see the movie Powder), we are bio-electric organisms, to believe that we can influence energies around us or that we may become pure energy is totally possible. The fact is that we only have about a 100 year window of real research towards what we are and our capabilities, religion and governments have controlled the decimation of information with an iron fist for the last 3,000 plus years, we really know only what we have seen in the last lifetime, undoubtedly we as humans will discover more about ourselves and the world, discoveries that are only considered by the real thinkers of our time.

It is a fact that many things happen beyond your control. Even when you make an extreme effort to ensure that a certain event goes to plan something happens. Your perspective is to anticipate. We all have ESP to a degree.
