I'm really confused as to how to approach this problem. I know the product and quotient rules, but I'm still confused. Could someone please help me? Thanks!

It is estimated that the peron income is rising in Miami metropolitan area. In July 2001, the population of this area was 3,354,000 and increasing at roughly 45,000 per year. The average annual income was $21,107 per capita, and this average was increasing about $1900 per year (well above the national average of about $660). Use the Product Rule and these figures to estimate the rate at which total personal income was rising in Miami in July 2001. Explain the meaning of each term in the Product Rule.

See I've been battling with this topic for a while. I've watched videos online, I've read articles and I can see how scientifically this could be possible. I mean take the Phoenix Lights I think they were called, that was pretty substantial evidence. Sure, most videos of the phenomena are blurry and incoherent but if you look at them closely they are pretty definitive as to what they are showing. So I just want to know your thoughts on this because I'm not sure and I want some more true thoughts

-4x(6x^4) How do I simplify this? I have several choices, and the one I'm thinking is -24x^4. Is that correct? I need an explanation. Thanks!!

Also, when I see (4x)^2, does that mean to square the 4 and get 16x^2 or just multiply and get 4x^2?

When (y/-3)^2 is simplified, does it become y^2/9? (The / means fraction.)

Thanks!!
