Based on the distributions show above, which of the following are true statements for the three gases I II and III ?
Note that the temperature is constant

a) gas III is the lightest of the three gases

b) the most probable speed of the molecules of gas II
is greater than that of the molecules of gas III

c) all the molecules of gas III have an actual speed that is greater
than those of gas I

d) plots of the molecular kinetic energy distribution for the three gases
would all be identical (superimposed on each other)

e) increasing the temperature would increase the most probable speed
of the molecules of each gas

I hear alot of good things based on string theory, however i would like to know what bad experimental data evidence has already been found or may be found in the future. Such as at astronomical scales and at quantum scales with current technology or future technology. I am aware of the general bad points, such as too complex etc. Thanks

I randomly thought of this while watching Apollo 13 the other day. If the astronauts live in Florida and are trained in Florida and the shuttles are launched in Florida, then why is mission control in Texas? And I know something else is in Huntsville,Alabama...don't they built the shuttles there or something?
Why not all in one place?

I know how to solve some identities, but overall I have a hard time on solving them. I don't want an answer relating to a specific problem, but any tips or tricks on how to start solving any type of problem using any of the six functions. I have a test in a few days and we have a limited amount of time to solve the problems so I don't want to just try different things randomly until one works.

Jfb, you asked a great question. You should post it. I will answer your question while asking one myself.
The first thing that makes a believer, is usually personal experience. Personal experience cannot be felt or duplicated by others. Thats where credibility comes in. Do we believe the persons account?
The second thing for me is if it is a pic, are there more than one pic? I personally dont like single pics. I require at least two and even beeter three pics of the same thing from different distances and angles. these are hard to get for sure. I dont like night pics because you cant see whats around the pic, (reflections and such). But even still different distances and angles makes it hard to discount, if the same thing is in the pics. Having the temps, humidity, times, and circumstances are required. Where was the sun, moon, or any other light in reference to the pics.If you gonna post a pic and say its a ghost, I want to know everything about the pics. Would this be evidence?
