Moose wade in water to feed in summer while living on wetland trees like willow and birch in winter. They have palmate antlers that only the male bears. Moose are the largest deer species. They are not domesticated.

Caribou or reindeer are migratory boreal forest inhabitants that range into the arctic tundra during the summer where they give birth. They can be domesticated and in Europe few wild animals persist. Both sexes have antlers.

a moose has a large thick neck and face - looks almost unbalanced in the front end - it grows quite tall (like over 6' at the level of their back) and has huge fan-like antlers. a caribou is larger and heavier than a deer, smaller than a moose, and their antlers are more deer-like - rather long and pointed - they kind of remind me of large reindeer.
