Earth's radius at 70 degree latitude will be 6361 Km and at 16 degree latitude 6374 approximately.
The equatorial radius is 6378 Km and at poles,6356 Km.So there is a difference of 22 KM.
Now find out the value of 70/90 and 16/90 and multiply each value by 22. The result will be 17 and 4.Subtract this value from 6368.You will get the result. This is only an approximate calculation only.I have simply subracted the proportionate value.
