I was just wondering, what phylums are flowering plants. Wikipedia says it is Magnoliophyta, but my biology teacher says that it is wrong.
All answers must be reasonable and come from a reliable source(wiki doesn't count), and if you are a biologist, goodie.

I've never heard of "Magnoliophyta", but I've done an internet search and it seems that this is the current/new name for what I've also been taught were the Angiosperms, the flowering plants.

I'm afraid taxonomists are always changing names... without telling the rest of us!
