Is the epidemic in 2012 going to be because of the poles switching places?

What do you think? I heard the poles are switching places and in 2012 navigation systems for plains and the ones that animals have are going to be messed up, and the power is gonna go out and just scary doomsday stuff. Is this gonna happen? Why would it or why not? do you think the pole thing is going to happen too?

I wouldn't get too worked up about 2012. The root of all these rumors is that it is simply the end of the Mayan calendar system (actually 3 overlapping calendars). While they were a very advanced race in their day, you will notice that they are no longer around as a nation. If they were truly so adept at prediction, I think they probably would have fared a little better historically.

You have been wholly misinformed on a number of things.

1) The poles do not switch quickly

2) What epidemic?

3) 2012 is the end of the Mayan calendar. Nothing more.

Don't trust the word of others. Do your own research.

I think you have been talking to the wrong kinds of people. There are always Domesday predictions and this is just another one of those. The magnetic poles will not switch over night on 2012 and how will this cause a epidemic (disease)? Many ancient calenders and predictions have come and gone but I'm still here.

I dont think that it is really going to happen. But the polar ice caps are most likely to melt because of global warming, and if that happens the sea level will rise world wide&&most of the countries are gonna be under water.but i dont tihnk those scary doomsday stuff with the polar r switching places,etc are going to happen........well i hope not!
