Okay so i have a science project. It is to do an experiment to show if " the more particles dissolved in the water, the higher the boiling point." is true or not. My question is how do i know WHEN to take the temperature of the water. If it when theres any sign of bubbles?

Thanks. ;]

Take the temperature of the water when it has gotten as hot as it can be. Avoid strong heating, vigorous boiling, and splashing of water. Water can never get hotter than it's boiling point. (You will provide a knowing explanation of that fact in your project.) After the water has come to an even boil, record the temperature.

you can do it at any time i would have the thermometer in the water and then record at the first sign of bubbles coming to the top. As long as you do this with all the different ways you are doing the water you should be fine. Ar you doing sugar salt and something else?
