does anybody know who discovered water pollution????????????????????

While he didn't discover water pollution per se, Erasimus Culligan was one of the pioneers in modern water treatment to remediate the effects of pollution as well as other water purification techniques.

I don't think it was a discovery per se. I think people have been drinking contaminated water since people have been on Earth. It is only in recent decades that we can use scientific methods to determine what is contaminating water, and whether its natural or not.
